Sharon paige was so underrated as a female singer, primarily because she didn't really have a group of her own and did vocals on mostly male group's album's. But she held her own against any female artist of her day. She was purely sublime, a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice. ❤

Totally agree with your comment. Sadly only recorded two or three songs with Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes. However I’ve discovered she did record a single in her own right called You Don’t Even Know My Name, sadly as rare as hens teeth as they say. This song just happens to be my favorite song out of the great hits that Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes has provided the world with..the blending of Harold..Sharon and Teddy's vocals on top of that Gamble and Huff masterful production and that great Philly sound remains on the greatest songs to ever come out of Philadelphia Pa
