reversevaccum I had a spinal fusion twice for scoliosis ,although it was painful it taught me alot about physiotherapy and medical knowledge. I work in the nhs so it comes in useful.

Our family grows/sells heirloom tomatoes and we have for several years. One thing I know is that tomatoes like a lot of room for their roots and they like HEAT. If they have those two things, every-other-day watering should suffice :)

Im a nicu nurse and use both g-buttons. I love the mini one-- only thing is that you have to push a little harder when hooking up the extension tubing-- makes me worry about pulling on the site and causing irritation/granulation tissue over time. Love that it glows in the dark, too! :) Im interested to see which one you like best!

I love my AMT mini one tube! Another fun part is the mini one tube glows green along with the ports on the extensions! Those little things like glowing in the dark make having a tube more fun!

I'm right with you in being a medical nerd! Maybe it's partially being raised by a doctor and having students with various diagnosis but I find it fascinating. Generally when you mention or experience something new I go and look it up so I already had researched the differences between the mic-key and mini buttons.

Nothing wrong in being a medical nerd. You start to pickup the lingo of it. The more you know about things the better or its a learning process as you go. Sometimes doctors (not meaning to) over look things and if the patient brings it up as something to consider, who knows, they just might. Yep, always have to check the bell to make sure you get the notifications. If doesn't look like its "ringing", then no notifications for you!! Awww, Ollie looked cute when he was blinking!!! Seriously, if you guys made a stuffed animal toy of Ollie boy, I betcha they would sell super fast!! Then you could donate the money to either CF or for service dogs care packages. Hi Mary! I had a question! I have CF as well, I have both strains of the F508 mutation and was prescribed Orkambi almost a year ago. I don't know if I missed what strain you have, but I was wondering if Orkambi is an option for you?

Mary! Remember what you said about the Jtube being like an extreme body piercing? It kinda makes sense, because with piercings, the person performing the piercing will put in a larger piece of jewelry in order for the piercing to swell and heal, then once it's healed more, they'll place a smaller piece of jewelry in the piercing as it's more comfortable and sticks out less, just like the mini! :)

Clicking the bell doesn't seem to unsubscribe you. However, it can get complicated from there. Sometimes, "apparently" if I have already hit the bell- i.e., turned on notifications-- it won't show me the screen which lets me know that I have done that and show me my notification options. Then I have to unsubscribe and re-subscribe to see for sure that I have clicked on the bell to turn on email notifications. Was that helpful, or just entertaining???? ;)

I couldn't have a button. My feeding tube was both in my stomach and jejunum so the tubing extended about 6 externally. Which was fine, except when I was unhooked because just having that hanging was annoying. I had to have both though because while they fed me through the jejunum one, they had to vent/empty my stomach contents at the same time because my pancreas was nonstop backing bile into there.
