1:28 is a mood. Those two guards are my favorite; I can relate to them on a spiritual level.

I normally find the shipping in the Hamilton fandom to be really weird, but King George being a petty ex to the other George is rather hilarious (even if the history nerd in me has to ignore the fact that both of them were happily married to women)

0:15 THIS DAY IN HISTORY: The Boston Tea Party In December 16th, 1773 (250 Years Ago), patriots disguised as Native Americans threw 342 chests of tea overboard into Boston Harbor, in response to them resisting to buy tea due to the British insisting the right to collect tax on it, and the enactment of the Tea Act making the price of the British East Indian Company's price of tea, with cheaper tax included. This incident then angered King George III, Lord Frederick North, and members of Parliament, leading them to enact the Coercive and Quebec Act in 1774, not only it punishes and brings the people in Boston and Massachusetts under control, but also colonists believing such "Intolerable Acts" took away NY, PA, VA, MA, and CT claimed along the Ohio river, feeling that the British would attempt to enact more laws to take away their representative government. As loyalists' response to the policies, opponents challenged Great Britain with harsh criticisms, which violence then outgrew people began to publicly rise, protested, and donated for the independence movement.
