Demencia looked so ticked that Black Hat is obsessing over Flug (and maybe a little guilty?). Like, she did all that and she’s still not #1.

@@Lauren.E.O She is. She had been pissed when BH spends more time with Flug because he's the head scientist so she tried to get rid of him. Unfortunately, she doesn't think long term and is too tunnel-visioned when it comes to BH, that she hardly filled the boots that Flug used to trudge on for the organization. From what I know, she sees 505 and Flug as sort of older bro and little bro, so the house felt empty and everything that Demencia didn't had to worry about before is heaped on her. Worse still, is that her bonbon seems further away when they found out about Flugslys co and BH is hellbent in playing cat-and-mouse with Flug. So she didn't got what she wanted, she lost what she had and she just made it harder to have BH to herself. But that's just my headcanon for this animatic of Chowy's AU. I feel like Black hat would be the type of person to intentionally flirt with someone not because he likes them but because he finds it funny, but he'd be good at it so the person that he's "flirting" with would think that he was actually flirting with them. It gave me the thrill, some adrenaline rush when Flug was surrounded by robots. Glee and Excitement, the part when every turn Flug face Black hat during the dance, he has a different weapon in hand. And the chills when Black hat said the line "I'll kill your friends and family, to remind you of my love" because he'd definitely do that without hesitation.

This animatic is BH being an entitled creep and Flug properly responds by trying to kill him. I'm not sure if I should tag this as paperhat since it's not intended to be romantic. Easter Eggs, Headcanons and Commentary: (The following HCs are just my personal headcanons since it's "Death of the Author" after publishing the animatic.) 1.) First of all, I realized too late that BH's tie is black. Not red. Second, I only colored certains items of their clothes so that Flug and BH would contrast and compliment each other like magic and technology. (Now, I sound shippy.) 2.) In this animatic, Flug ran into his ex-boss during a mission. BH uses this opportunity to send him a message. 3.) 0:14 I know Dr. Flug in Flugslysco AU is muscular (having taken boxing lessons to vent all his rage). I made him his usual body type in here to give him an underdog look next to BH. 4.) Whenever Flug's pupils aren't showing, he's emotionally closing himself off. The moments his pupils are showing, are the moment he was caught unaware and the mask slips for a moment. 5.) 0:18 Demencia began wearing a labcoat since she replaced Flug as a scientist. Villainous QandA Orientation showed that she can calculate faster than Flug. 6.) 0:22 Headcanon: since Demencia tricked Flug to getting fired in order for her to spend more time with BH, Flug has conflicting feelings about Dem. He knew it's just like her to choose BH over anything else and not think about the consequences. But he never expected her to throw him under the bus. It kinda hurt when he had always thought they have a sort-of sibling bond in their own weird way. At the same time, he's grateful for Dem for getting him fired and realizing his own worth. For now, he's shutting out Dem and those complicated feelings because he has to deal with BH. 7.) 1:05 I noticed in some origin-themed fanfics, Flug always gets in trouble for shaking hands with the devil. In here, he rejects it. 6.) 1:13-1:14 was inspired from The Crush Song Animatic by Elly Drawings kzbin.info/www/bejne/laqxq4Ooq5qIkNk 8.) 1:15 For all your villain-forces-enemy-to-a-dance-while-singing-their-villain-song wishes. Finally, all those PE ballroom dancing in high school has its use. 9.) 1:16 HC: Flug wasn't surprised that BH would be into dramatic tomfoolery of forcing him into a dance. But the more he struggled, the more he realized the death grip BH has on his right hand, the more he got disgusted at being in close proximity with him (1:21). 10.) 1:26 HC: Flug's weapon in this scene is a sacred knife. He began dabbling in holy objects in his goal to kill BH. 11.) 1:28-1:29 was inspired by The Night Animation by Daria Cohen kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4jWi2Wcir2VkMk 12.) 1:32 My headcanon here is, Flug is already getting creeped out by BH's actions. BH always manhandles him away when he was still working with him, not manhandles him close. He's also possibly getting retraumatized from being too close to a dangerous being that almost killed him. In BH's case, he's being possessive because he still sees Flug as his asset despite the fact that Flug is now a competition against his company. 13.) 1:39 BH is hard to kill. But just like Thomas Edison making 1,000 unsuccessful attempts before inventing a light bulb, Flug is just going to be as tenacious. 14.) 1:49 HC: You know how an abuser would try to get the victim back into their assigned role in their codependent relationship? That's what BH is doing. He's giving the Flug-he-knows what he desperately wants since threats of bodily harm no longer work on him. At the same time, BH's telling the truth. Flug having the gall to build a corporation in competition with BHO amuses BH (it did enraged him first but now he's telling Flug, "You can't do it on your own, you'll be back"). 15.) 1:53 HC: Flug is left confused upon BH's "positive" attention. His past validation-seeking self surfaced for a moment. 16.) 1:55 HC: Until Flug remembered how he had realized that BH would trod him down to keep him insecure and dependent. 17.) 1:56 HC: I'm dedicating this punch to every abuse BH put Flug through. My only regret was not making it powerful enough. 18.) 1:59 HC: BH can kill Flug right on the spot. He's just choosing not to because he found Flug's defiance amusing and is open to watching Flug become a villain of his own before crushing him down. Either by death or by keeping him again. 19.) 2:19 HC: Why didn't Flug do a Sans and just brought out his biggest gun in the end? I have no idea. Probably experimenting what weapons will affect BH or not. It wasn't like he could experiment on his ex-boss when he was still working in BHO. 20.) 2:35 HC: BH keeps on touching Flug in a "Mine" sort of way and disrespecting Flug's boundaries because he still sees Flug as one of his things. Like I said, this animatic wasn't meant to be romantic. 21.) 2:42 HC: BH casual threat to kill Flug's newfound family as part of his plan to beat Flug back into submission. Flug may think romantic love is useless but he has a motherlode of nurturing family love in him. Also 505 looks sad because he's seeing his parents fight. 22.) 2:45 HC: I wonder who would win? A guy who has nothing to lose or a guy who has something to protect? Flug's mad face was inspired by the many "mad scientist" expressions of Flug from flugslysco.tumblr.com 23.) You may have noticed by now that BH's suit design keeps on changing. He's a shapeshifter. It depends on how intimidating he wants to look. 24.) 2:55 Meet the Flugslys Corporation Gang: Bonnie the Bunny is both the muscle and secretary, Igor is Flug's assistant. To know more about them, check them out at flugslysco.tumblr.com 25.) 3:10 505's arc in flugslysco.tumblr.com is about mourning for his broken family. HC: He's also worried about his Papa Flug because his father is now driven by rage and bitterness and wants to kill his other papa. 26.) 3:12 HC: Dem is kind of jealous because ever since Flug showed up again as a competition to BHO, BH started acting obsessive (on how to take down flugslys co.) and possessive of getting/bringing down Flug. 27.) 3:22 HC: Who knows if Flug has what it takes to stand toe-to-toe with BH? It's what I'm looking forward to knowing in flugslysco.tumblr.com. This is my first animatic and I used Microsoft Movie Make to do this. If you do animatics too, is there any good software out there that you can recommend?

I don't think it can be avoided for people to think that way. I created the animatic with BH being entitled and possessive of Flug as his (ex) scientist as much as I created the scenes to respect Flug's anger and disgust as an abuse survivor towards his abuser. But after the creation of the animatic, it's "death of the author" (or animatic artist in this case). People are free to interpret the animatic however way they want. I mean, I can have BH say something dramatic and relevant to the story like, "I will not rest until I have you writhing in my grasp, begging for the sweet release of death!" to Flug and people are free to have fun expanding on that. Like Bugs Bunny said, "Don't take life too seriously, you'll never get out of it alive."
