When I was in high school I had a baby. I wasn't allowed to keep her. This song was still pretty big and I used to sing it to her a lot when I was pregnant. I found her a wonderful family and she will be 16 this year. It was a number of years before I could hear this song without breaking into tears. It's our song. She'll always be in my heart.

This song came out when my eldest niece had been diagnosed with the same type of cancer that Ted Kennedy Jr had. My niece was just 10 - I dedicated this song to Christine and sang it to her every time we spoke - I wanted to let her know how much I love her. She came through treatment, lost her 24 in hair, and surgery. We are very close and her dad(my brother) and I prayed over her. Thank you for this rendition.
