Excellent explanation how to setup and then move in the golf swing. I am going to start doing this in front of a mirror with sticks so I can check I am moving correctly

Thank you very much. My math group project was about sports that use geometry. So I chose Golf. You were the best video I found on this topic.

I read the comments before making one. There is no one swing for everyone! You give a very detailed and yet understandable methodology, which matches what I’m trying to accomplish. I love your videos, my distance is nothing to brag about in fact it’s shameful but it’s mine and I live with it. Happily playing golf “how sweet it is!” (Stole that from Jackie Gleason I think).

Great content! Loved seeing how the sticks related to each other from bswing, in transition, to impact. I like your ideas on posture and allowing yourself to 'shift into' a better position at the top rather than trying to start with a perfect position. Gankas was the 1st teacher I heard talking about the body wanting to do the opposite, e.g. If you want more spine tilt and compression in transition, it is easier to do when your spine is less tilted at the top of the swing. Am I understanding that correctly?

Nice! Thanks. On partial full swing wedges do you set up and stay on the left foot or stay between the feet with the same “leg work” as a normal full shot?

Billy Casper never did that with his spine leaning left and he won some 50 tournments!!

JohnD not sure I understand your statement. I played many rounds with Mr. Casper and his pivot was very symmetrical. His transition was a little more lateral which is why his trail foot slid and he pretty much only hit draws. There are no absolutes in golf only cause and effect. Billy won because what he did created a predictable pattern and he was a very gifted putter.

Spine tilt away or shoulder tilt with more neutral spine relative to hip line? See other golf-athletic site: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fIGaeqqef8d8eNk
