I comment on so many of your videos about this, and here it is. The auto leveling control panel is right where it needs to be so you can watch everything closely while hitching up or unhitching. We have that same refer in our 5th wheel and absolutely love it. .

We have this floor plan but in the Keystone Avalanche brand. We tow it with a SRW F-350. Our weight is approximately the same as this one loaded/unloaded. The SRW handles the unit just fine. DRW would naturally handle it even better. The Avalanche 375RD has some differences I much prefer, particularly in the kitchen. My island is larger, the wall between the living room and kitchen has additional counter space (spans the full length of the wall) with lowers, and on the pantry side we have a single swinging door right by the fridge and next to that is open counter space with uppers and lowers. I like how in this one the two couches in the opposing slides are full couches, ours only has love seats. This has been a fantastic floor plan for us, our Border Collie, and Great Dane! We love traveling with it!

@JD - I would love it if you would check for a sealed undercarriage and if the basement is heated. We live in the Austin area, but as you are all too aware winters have brought lots of pipe splitting temperatures, Thanks man!

I would prefer a ½ bath also or a much bigger main bath. Loved the living room with all the windows. The kitchen wouldn't be a deal breaker in itself but the too small bathroom probably would be. I could never understand the bedroom shelves being up so high🤔. We actually loved the Montana with a rear kitchen. Very comparable to the GD Solitude rear kitchen.

We have a 2003 Monte Vista The floor plan in this Montana is an Update of our floor plan, I love!!! The updated version is ok. There are some major differences but basically the same. Differences: Updated Kitchen: Island seems shorter (smaller). Solid Wall separates kitchen from Living Room. Ours has a bar with upper built in cabinets connected to our Island and wraps around giving open concept into Living Room. OUR Bathroom: Shower is separate out side of the toilet. Washstand is between the Water closet and shower next to the pocket door entry into the Front Bedroom. OUR bed is a queen size.

Hey JD hope you're having a great day my friend? I love the Montana series fifth wheels! I like the setup of this unit. I would want a third AC unit because of the humidity here in North Carolina. I didn't notice the curtain separating the back living room an the kitchen until you said it was there. Does this unit come with generator or is it gen prep? The outside storage is always amazing with alot of storage! I do like the slide out tray in the back. Thank you JD for all the information that you give us on this unit an on all the different units you show us. I hope that you are completely healed up now? Having heart an health issues you have to be careful as to what you can do. I'm glad that you are doing good my friend. I know the Texas heat ain't no joke! I went to truck driving school in Dallas. I’ve noticed that Keystone Montana and Alliance RV are both moving away from Schwintek slide systems to cable slides due to increased problems with Schwintek. A corporate rep at Alliance told me that moving forward all of their product lines will have cable instead of Schwintek slides because of all the issues they’re having with Schwintek. I know you’re not a fan of cable slides so I’m curious what you think of these new developments.

I actually think Montana is moving away from cable slides and going to rack and pinion. I have a 2022 311RL and I have rack and pinion for the main slides whereas prior years had cable slides and many problems with the cable slides. I think the Shwintek for the bedroom is ok as that is a lighter slide.

While my wife and I do like our Montana that we bought 8 months ago, we have had a few issues and haven't even had it on the road. Working with Keystone has been anything but pleasant. If you have any advice on how to better handle customer care for us, we would appreciate it. I'm not out to bad mouth any RV company, I would just like some genuine help.

Depending on the model number depends on what fridge is on the inside. Also, the “carpet” in the dinette slide isn’t really carpet, it’s like a material that would go on a pontoon boat.

As a current (only for 3 more days) Montana owner (new 3725RL in 2013) I can honestly with vast experience say stay the frack away from Keystone products, during warranty they suck, right after they don't give AF and have no problems saying so.

I love this. I'm not an open space type of person. When I'm cooking, I want my own provacy, so I like the front/rear living room floor plans with the kitchen area separate. It appears the pricing is starting to return closer to the pre covid days.
