This was a great video! You went slow enough for beginners and were very informative with all directions. Thanks so much! I’ve learned another stitch!

This is the first time I am watching you. Thank you for your excellent instructions. I am a beginner and I can't watch the tutorials that just play music and don't talk. Blessings and keep up the excellent work

Your Friday YT videos bring such a splash of colour and happiness into my life at the end of the week. From the yarn, to the hooks and even the scissors, everything about Fiber Flux videos is just so pretty. Thanks for being my teacher all these years.

I love this! Besides of using a dishcloth to grab hot things, what else is it used for?

Nice stitch. How would you make a matching hanging towel ?
@fiberflux10 ай бұрын
Thanks for the great question! I would make it twice as wide (see the stitch multiple part for this info) and repeat row two until it’s nice and long-long enough to fold over a towel bar , stove handle or towel ring. Hope that helps! 😊

I’m a little confused. You said, to start work a single crochet in the “second chain” from the hook and then proceeded to work in the first chain from the hook or am I imagining things.
@erinlee9209 ай бұрын
She counts and points it out pretty clearly. Loop on the hook doesn't count, first Stitch is quite tight and small, your SC goes in second chain from the hook.

I’m confused. At 8:22 you are saying work into that stitch but I don’t see where on mine. Like the top or the actual hole in between them ?
@Mallowolf16 күн бұрын
If you look at it from the top where you see the little braid shapes, you’ll see that you’re basically still creating your stitches into one of those braids, and skipping the next one, one single crochet and double crochet into the next braid, and skipping the next one, and so on. You don’t go into any lower holes.
@tinyt-rex927116 күн бұрын
@ thank you I’m gonna try and do it again
@Mallowolf15 күн бұрын
@@tinyt-rex9271you’re welcome! I think it doesn’t work the same way when you flip the piece (so on the odd rows) but if you keep your tension even, you’ll be able to see the little looser loop (or braid segment) she speaks of in the tutorial and guide your hook into those, without having to count anything. It takes a little practice to be able to clearly see the stitches so don’t give up if you mess up a couple times. You can do it!

@@Mallowolf thank you so much !I’m trying to learn to do more than just a granny square. My granny taught me last year to do but that’s all she could remember to teach me so I’m trying to learn through Yt tutorials
