Who knew that magnet fishing was even a thing? I've watched a couple of these now and I'm still deeply amazed. I used to live in a small town where a river ran through it and once every couple years the community would get together and clean out the river within the city. They found tricycles, bicycles and even a snowmobile. The small random stuff was basically just garbage but it's amazing how much stuff just sat at the bottom of the river.

Those coins that you guys found inside the safe are old laundry tokens. No real cash value but they are collectible different values with different dates similar to regular coin collecting. About 3,00€ on the 5k 1982 and 1,15€ on the 10k 1981. Not worth a whole lot, but still collectible. The number and letter corresponded to its use or load. The 5K being for 5 kilos the 10K being for 10 kilos and there were different coins for dryers as well as washers.

Love your videos, I am in hervey bay qld Australia, just a tip to try out on cleaning metal parts is to use molasses, place dirty parts into the molasses and let soak until clean.It will not harm the metal as polishing or grinding, all the best mates, cheers Mick.

Those flick knives were very common in 1980 etc especially in Amsterdam. Loved those days but very dangerous. Glad I experienced "On The Streets of Amsterdam". Wild West times. Now it's been cleaned up. when I visit I head to the outskirts and just stick with the Dutch locals. I love the people. ❤

Btw, Nigel Lamford use to call the cool little "lady's pistol" you found a "Flobert" (He has found a couple of them himself), but it's also called a "muff pistol" or "Queen Anne's pistol. QAPs have been around since the early 18th century and were early breech loading flintlock pistols with screw-off rifled barrels.Yours is probably a percussion cap version from the mid 1800s (just like your Belgian buddy said).

The small town I live in was founded in 1836. Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Lots of waterways & bridges! I'm just not strong enough for magnet fishing! But I bet I would find a lot! Pm me!
