The general public always have been always will be favorite & over bettors. I used to be afraid to bet unders in baseball because when I started betting in the late 90s you could easily have a game go over in the first few innings...by the bottom of the 3rd it's 6-5. Nowadays with so many runs coming off HRs it seems to lead to more 4-2 6-1 type of games and you might even have 5 HRs all solo shots. NBA games you're literally losing an over bet for almost the entire game if not the entire game if it stays under. You'll never see an NBA game go over in the first half. You'll occasionally see football games go over in the first half or early 3rd quarter. It's strange to me how some people won't bet unders but there's tons of people who never do. Now there's teams I won't dare bet under like the Pacers. But they're one of the only teams right now. Tough to find value in NBA overs when they're all in the 235-245 range

Great video and thanks for the advice! I've been betting for a few months now and analyzing data everyday for months. I like to figure out how probable overs/unders are based on prior 10 game scoring averages, 5 game averages, 3 game average and what percent the opposing team is allowing opponents to reach of said averages above based on their last 10 opponents. I scan different categories on the sportsbook and try my best to pick the most profitable and probable bets based on the analysis. It's been an amazing skillset to build!

There is not true behind the point that unders come more times than overs. If the betting company is pricing correct the totals, you will not find value, if they are pricing them wrong you will. You can find value betting over on a soccer match in Egypt and value betting on the under in a match in Austria Bundesliga.

I would get quarterly data on the NBA, on each team, for the whole season. Maybe two seasons. Then for Team A, group the quarterly data as follows: Avg Avg. Avg. Avg Overall qtr1 qtr2 qtr3 qtr4 Overall when Winning Overall when Losing Home Games Overall Home Games When Winning Home Games when Losing Away Games Overall Away Games Winning Away Games Losing Then compare the appropriate averages to how they are doing to what they have done, and average on what they are likely to do.

It’s all a matter of which books are giving us lines that are bettable. Superstar unders are often great bets because NO ONE wants to bet the under on that, so you’ll see the books shade to the over. But it still has to make sense. You don’t just take the under to take the under. That’s where the +EV betting approach I talked about in the video comes into play with OddsShopper or any other +EV tools you might use

I always search for the lowest vig. No way am i pissing money away just to place a bet. I did find a really profitable o/u in baseball last year. With the inception of the pitch clock, weekday pitchers gave up more runs combined than the book's line. The bookmakers did a better job with weekend pitchers. However, there was a bit of unknown with the new system and the books underestimated the line, especially during the week, with teams that were known run producers. This will be where i focus my attention this year.
