As ridiculous as Gohan leaving in the middle of the fight is, it does make sense when you consider the AI hinted that gohan DIDN'T want to fight Goku at all during the beginning. Even mentioning that he doesn't punch his fist because he isn't taking the fight seriously like goku is. So, I just imagine that Gohan saw goku telling him to go home as an excuse to leave 😂. Also Gohan was studying Super Saiyan Ants?! FUTURE GULLY RETURN?!
