Truly, one of the most beloved singers of all time. Rosemary Clooney always got it right. No frills, perfect phrasing & arrangements. What a treasure.

Today marks the 40th anniversary of the passing of a great song writer Harry Warren. He wrote the song Rosemary is singing. He also wrote I Only Have Eyes For You. That's Amore! I had The Craziest Dream. You Must Have Been A Beautiful Baby! Jeepers Creepers! 42nd Street. Lullaby of Broadway. At Last, and You Getting To Be A Habit With Me among others. He was nominated for the Oscar for best song 11 times and one 3 time for Lullaby Of Broadway, You'll Never Know and On The Atchison Topeka And The Santa Fe. Thank you Harry Warren for all of these songs and the others you wrote. They don't make them like this anymore and we don't have songwriters like you anymore. We are the poorer for it.
