I've been reading the comments on this song and I have to say that y'all are some of the kindest, sweetest people I've known out here. Music does soothe the savage beast. I'm not saying we're savage beasts, but it seems we all agree that this song is just one of the most beautiful, meaningful songs to us. To our hearts. God bless us one and all.

So very beautiful. I would love to have played this at my brothers funeral two days ago. He valiantly fought leukemia, & all through his chemo ordeals, his faith was unshakable & he remained so strong in his belief that he would walk on through his storm, & would see the golden sky at the end, & be with God. I have always loved this song, & I love the performance by Celtic Woman, & the lovely video. Thanks for posting this up.

My dad passed on before he could see my graduation. When my mother , husband and I entered the graduation hall, I asked, " Pappa, give me a sign that you are here with us today. " And then the university choir started singing, " When you walk... " And then I knew he was there in spirit with us, because he was so, so proud of me completing my studies. Today is the 2nd time I heard this song, on one day. He is my guardian angels, with my mother, and some of our family members who have passed on already. I believe this, as with GOD, our creator.

I am now seventy years old and as I have grown older, I have finally seen the benefits of going through hardships. Over these many years, I've learned that going through the hardships of life builds character in a way that living the easy life could NEVER accomplish. I now know what is truly important - What you are is the most valuable possession that you'll ever own. I love listening to this song especially when sung by the Celtic women.

Inspirational, especially today. Hillsborough Coroner Jury verdict vindicates the fans and puts the blame squarely on the shoulders of the police, ambulance, football club, health and safety. The families never did walk alone, the city of Liverpool has always been with them.
@martintheiss7435 жыл бұрын
that was a heinous incident. I think its wrong to blame the fans as such, much as football is like in the UK (I am an American). You always have to examine events like that from the prospective of knowing the rules and the customs of the time. Law enforcement and rescue equipment was sickeningly slow.

This song can not be any more true. The Hillsborough victims' families and survivors have walked through a tremendous storm filled with lies, cover-ups and blame. They no longer have to feel like they are to blame for their friends, their loved one's deaths over Hillsborough. That falls to the ones who caused the disaster. I respect the campaigners and the ones who helped them gain the truth. Next comes accountability which will hopefully FINALLY bring JUSTICE FOR THE 96 innocent men, women and children who lost their lives on that tragic day. From a pure Liverpool Kopette! #JFT96 #YNWA
