i use "stickers" like this all the time in my resin. They stick to the silicone mold, so you can just put it on the bare silicone and pour your resin over them. Then they won't move and you don't have to worry about bubbles underneath of them. These coasters are beautiful, btw.

These are so pretty! I was wondering if the holo would show as I know when using a holo mold a top coat will negate the holo effect. But, I love them. I like the various mandalas. I don’t think now is the time of year to do a craft fair in Arizona. I know it’s not here in Arkansas. One has to have a death wish or a portable a/c to do them during summer. I like the indoor ones/. 😁😁😁❤❤❤ PS: I had hip surgery 2 years ago. It was a breeze. In three days I was doing my steps. Just tell him not to do the No, No’s like put too much weight on that leg or twist his hip. He’ll do great!

Thank you!! Yeah, the holographic effect was pretty much lost with the layer of resin. Which I should have known as it doesn't work with faceted jewels or embellishments either. Oh well.. still fun to try.. and learn... again!! haha. I will definitely let him know what you said regarding the hip recovery! Thank you!!

Beautiful results, green is not usually my first choice, this shade of green is very pretty. ❤❤❤Love these. My friend in California just had hip replacement surgery. Not as easy as he thought it would be. Had it about 2 months ago and still PT kicks his patootie. His doc told him that for the first few weeks, he would hate his doc. Just a heads up.

The green is gorgeous. I have the JDiction mica, you really don't need a lot; it goes a long way. I do think the green may have made some of the holograph coloring not come through. It's kind of like how green cancels red. I was seeing the silver and a hint of blue. But the reds and pinks seemed to disappear, at least to me. I still loved it. I've used the avocado green and thought it came even prettier than it appeared in the baggie.

They turned out really pretty! I love the green. The chrome trim looks great, it’s the perfect finishing touch. I hope your hubby’s surgery goes well. I think the procedures are much better now but, recovery takes awhile. I had my detached rotator cuff and another adjacent muscle that was 85% torn repaired last year. They told me it would take a year to recover, unfortunately it has taken that long. Doing the PT is tough but, it’s really vital. I heard a few stories about people having to go back and have the surgery redone because they didn’t do it. Which just adds more scar tissue and makes it even more painful and difficult. I’ll send him healing light.❤

If you put resin over holographic the holographic goes away. You would need to use the bottom of the coaster as the top and put your sticker on the top.

How odd! I've seen many artists use holo stickers under a coat of resin without problems... Good to know that's not always the case.

I found that out to . Now I add it to the last coat and it works perfectly .

If you put the mica directly on the mold then put the resin in the mica will transfer onto you project permanently then you can put the sticker on if you want to seal the sticker you can use uv resin and a light or more resin
