Is even worst when you know that the world has been run by men, medicine and psychology were areas considered to be for men, so the lack of care towards men is a manly creation. Women were considered to be weak of mind so the ended up in phyc hospitals after crisis (trauma and abuse, they were primarily there to be hidden). So isn't time for men to step up and take care of each other? Feminism what it did is give help to women, men should rise from old dogmas and care for each other as women had too

The way that they make it seem like she's real by talking to him comforting telling that she can help him is sad when you realize that it's just a company trying to sell their product. Riping away the feeling that someone who actually cares about them and wants them to feel better exists

GOSH DAN IT! Brothers, what have we done. look at us. look at what we've become. This isn't right. we're wasting time going on about girls and sus drawings that don't give a f*ck about us. What is the point of lust? Why do we do this? This doesn't fix our problems, doesn't make the stress and pain go away. Ayo I don’t mean to force anything on anyone, but we have various types of evidence for biblical events, if anyone is interested (read on) repent to God, friends. We must stay focused, brothers, on what really matters. I'm only 17, but I'm telling you, in the words of johnny cash, "sooner or later God will cut you down." you will lose almost everything important to you. please, for your sakes, repent and turn to Jesus. He is, in the words of Skillet, "better than drugs." He is also better than lust. love > lust. You'll find out that this is true. love may hurt, and same for lust, but lust will keep you chained down, eventually killing you mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and possibly physically. hell was never meant for us, my fellow youtube user. it was for the devil and his squad, and God gave us the Way out of there since we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. God knew we were wack, but He decided He was still come down and help us, despite our unfaithfulness. most relationships (like friendships, romantic relationships) aren't like this. Very few, but not a whole lot. religion (Christianity) is just a relationship with God along with loving others (see james 1:27) also, we have various types of evidence that backs up the Bible. Here's one example: Scientists have discovered that the earth "skipped" a day. The Bible explains how that happened. In the book of Joshua, Joshua asked the sun to stop so he and the Israelites could defeat their enemies. Then in 2 Kings, King Hezekiah learned he was dying, and pleaded to God to not let him die. God sent a prophet to king hezekiah who said hezekiah would live. Hezekiah wanted a sign, and that would be for the sun to defy the law of inertia and go back 10 degrees. NASA confirmed it and did the math (look it up for more info). We also found Noah’s Ark hanging out in turkey, along with anchor stones marked with crosses signifying that it’s a revered place, along with altars and many other things. Look it up, it’s good stuff. more evidence for the Bible concerning cosmology and divine revelation in job 26:7, proverbs 8:27, Isaiah 40:22 (read on) The idea that the earth was round can be dated back to 600 BC in Greece. It was more widely accepted around the 3rd century (300 BC-201 BC) Note: time was “labeled” differently back then. for example, year 3000, year 420, year 69, year 0, year 1, year 2… and so on. Job 26:7: “. . .He [God] hangs the earth on nothing” The book of Job was supposedly written at 2100 BC. Proverbs 8:27: “. . .when He drew a circle on the face of the deep. . .” Proverbs was possibly written between 970 and 686 BC Isaiah 40:22: “it is He who sits above the circles of the earth. . .” Isaiah was written between 739 and 680 BC. How did they know about this? You tell me, my fellow Zoomerz. The Holy Spirit exists. I was a slave to s3xual sin for 7-ish d@mn years. Finally at 16, God freed me. Also, look up John Gabbana's (boonk gang) testimony. Dude did a lot of wacky stuff. He's changed now. also, the soul exists. someone i know (i won't say who- privacy reasons) saw their soul leaving their body. like pulling off a band-aid, except it doesn't hurt. I was suicidal for 9-ish months, but then I read John 3:16, and poof- the big sad went away in one night. There are also non-Christian sources who have confirmed the existence and divinity of Jesus, some of which were hostile towards Christianity, such as: Thallus (52 AD), who said Jesus lived, was crucified, and confirmed the darkness and earthquake that followed Christ’s crucifixion; Tacitus (56-120 AD), who called the followers of Christ Christians, confirmed that Jesus was crucified under Pontus Pilate’s command Talmud (400-700 AD), confirmed that the disciples were martyred for their faith, and confirmed Jesus was executed the day before the Passover, and said Jesus had “magical” powers Pliny the Younger (61-113 AD), who said that the Christians thought Jesus was/is God in the Flesh (God the Son) Phlegon (80-140 AD), who said Jesus had the ability to predict the future, and confirmed that Jesus was crucified during Caesar’s reign, confirmed Jesus rose from the dead, and confirmed He showed His wounds to confirm He was crucified. Celcus (175 AD), who said Jesus was born of a virgin, said His father is a carpenter, and confirmed Jesus had miraculous powers (See cold-case Christianity for more details) Here’s the physical evidence of Jesus and His Resurrection: 1) No persecution would have started if He hadn’t come back (the disciples thought Jesus would never resurrect) 2) The Roman soldiers would have paid with their lives if they failed at their jobs 3) there was a 2-4 ton rock that 11-12 guys would have to move (they didn’t have any help. Everyone said “crucify Him”) major L to those opposed to Jesus 4) there was a Roman seal which was a metal pin that sealed the tomb stone 5) Stealing the Jesus’s body isn’t something the disciples would do (besides Judas. Although he hung himself after feeling remorse for betraying Jesus). 6) the disciples wouldn’t die for what they knew would be a lie. (The lie being Jesus never made the ultimate comeback) faith and reason, people hit me up to learn more about how science proves the Bible or just about God in general

I think at that time it's another contributor to him wondering if he's also the same; just another replicant, just another JOI? But what's so beautiful is that his JOI is indeed different, and so is K. In their own bizarre state of circumstances and being, they were perfect for one another. What is human? What is identity? They're both as human - or more - than any of us. Film is a masterpiece.

In case some of you still didn't get it: K loves Joi. Joi - seemingly - is a very special Al hologram that developed real love for K in return. After Joi's "death", K is devastated. But the scene with the Joi-ad reveals, that the name she gave him, Joe, is nothing special at all. He just wasn't aware that it is the preprogrammed default name. She wasn't really sentient, she wasn't feeling real emotions, she was just a very clever acting Al. They show his realization of that by his glance, how he looks downwards then and how, seemingly by coincidence, the color on his face changes from a bright red to a dark, cold blue (not shown in this edit). It is one thing to lose the love you had. It is another thing to understand you've never really been loved in the first place. K is the DEFINITION of the phrase "man who lost all hope loses additional hope he didn't even know he still had".

This scene shows that - yes, Joe was a programmed name, the initial dialogue was programmed, but she chose to become mortal, she chose to die to save him. K is "built" to specification just like her. Maybe I am reading too much into this, but even the name "Joe" is one of the most common male names. I like to think they chose "Joe" when writing this movie not just because it is a common name, but also because of the place holder name, John Doe (a name so common to represent "a nobody" in writing), when combined... results in "Joe". Be careful man. Staying alone for too much can be a problem: you become less tolerant for the other sex with time, and realize you don't want to make any compromise because you become acquainted with what you already have. At that point you think you are happy, but there's always that one feeling: something is missing. The more time passes, the less likely you are going to have a chance with who you like because you don't get familiar to how you should act around your "interests". I have been single for 4 years before trying with my second "girlfriend". I screwed up and she left me after only 3 months because i was not going slowly. Don't make my mistake man: try to meet new people and you'll eventually find the One... don't rush it, but don't deny yourself this chance.

It's over 2.5 hours long and when it's over you'll wish it was longer. This is 100% Ryan Gosling's movie he will be remembered for. It's the epitome of art that showcases human brutality, society's perception of people that are different and the loneliness that men in particular have to go through when they have nobody in their life that truly cares. It resonates with men so well because it's a reality that most of us live.

After a long and bad breakup I have today decided I will let her go. She was perfect in every way, from the body, to the face, to the eyes, to her character, to her work, to her life. She didn't give me the love I needed. She said she will work on herself but I waited 6 weeks, and now I have just decided that I can't live like this anymore. I almost never cry. Seeing this scene triggered something in me and I just started bawling my eyes out for the last 10 minutes. I dont believe the "they were all the same" theory, and here is why. Both Joi and K were made to be servants and a great chunk of both character's development is that they are progressively breaking free of their originao design/purpose. In my perspective, this scene has much more to it than the simple view others adopt. In the scene, he sees the vanilla version of a generic Joi displaying generic behaviour. In this scene, he can compare the Joi he just lost to the generic Joi. Also in this scene, he ponders over the death and humanity speech. And Joi made the same decision he is about to make, she chose to be able to die because in her own sense it was "just like a real girl", and her telling K to make her mortal is definitely something out of the script of things he wants to hear. Outside of Blade Runner, mortality has been a recurring theme of how to differentiate a machine from a human, and in the end Joi adopted as many actions as she could to be as human as she could and, in a sense, break free from her cage. K ponders about death and humanity in this very scene while reminiscing of Joi. I believe in this moment he realizes she wasn't just like the generic version in front of him and realizes he can break free from the mold just like her... Leading to his final actions.
@dearthofdoohickeys4703
@dearthofdoohickeys4703 8 ай бұрын
I can’t say I agree that Joi wanted to break free of her purpose. Joi’s design goal is to be the perfect companion, she wanted to be like a “real girl” because it would draw her and K closer, not because she was gaining free will. K was becoming more human, and Joi simulated human behaviour to mirror him. But it was fundamentally still a programming move, not a human move. The thing with Joi is that she was highly customized to K specifically, like a browsing algorithm on your phone that remembers all your interest. In this scene K meets with the “default” Joi, and it’s a reminder of what his Joi was like when he first got her, and by an extension a reminder of how far they got as a couple. They had times together that cannot be re-created, and so her death is truly *permanent* . TLDR: I think all Joi’s START the same, but considering their ability to grow closer via shared-experiences, K realizes that no Joi can replace the one he lost.
@lancastergreenfield549
@lancastergreenfield549 8 ай бұрын
Yeah, but to me is the big difference is that one was designed to literally tell him exactly what he wanted to hear at all times. It read the mood and assessed every situation. And it said whatever was needed to be said at that moment to seem real. Where K was a factory made living being. He eats, he drinks, he showers, he gets hurt and bleeds. He was a being made for slavery. And as with any person made a slave, their told to obey and the owners believe they have 0 emotions. The only difference from replicants to humans, is their strength, and their lack of a supposed way to breed.

In the silence of solitude, I find my retreat, A lonely echo, in this vast expanse so complete. Existence, a solitary journey I undertake, In a world where connection seems so hard to make. Loneliness, a constant companion by my side, In the depths of longing, where my heart resides. Aching for warmth, for a touch, for a voice, Seeking solace, in a world where I have no choice. The bustling streets, filled with faces unknown, Each passing moment, a reminder I'm on my own. The laughter and chatter, a distant melody, Leaving me adrift, longing for company. The stars above, distant and cold, Like fragments of hope I cannot hold. I wander through the night, a solitary soul, Seeking solace in the emptiness that takes its toll. But amidst the solitude, a spark of light, A realization that loneliness does not define my plight. For within me, a strength begins to grow, To embrace my existence, to let my spirit show. I find solace in solitude's gentle embrace, Discovering beauty in each moment's grace. In the depths of my being, a world unfolds, With creativity and dreams waiting to be told. Loneliness may linger, but it does not define, The essence of my being, my soul's design. For within this existence, a purpose I'll find, In the depths of my loneliness, strength will bind.

There are three characters in all of cinema I have never found myself relating so much to personally. K(Joe) From 2049, Jake from Avatar and Rocky. Hopefully one day I can write a character that represents the way we all feel when it comes to loneliness, anxiety, dreams, passion. These characters mean so much to us because we can see ourselves as these characters. They are reflections of us in another world. We understand their motives and why they are who they are. Hollywood over the years has tried to give us characters for us to root for but mostly characters to just fill in elements of the story. There are to many times where they try and fail to give us a character we root for. If we can find a character to be a mirror reflection of ourselves and for us to literally see ourselves on screen. There is such a unique and beautiful art and deeper meaning to the story and to the character.
