You Make Me Brave - Jesus and Peter - Son of God - HD

This story of Peter and Jesus is my favorite in the Bible. Peter's transformation from a failed fisherman to a courageous preacher who spread the gospel and ended up choosing to be crucified upside down, instead of the way his master was, is epic.
What must he have thought as he saw Jesus' miracles? What must he have experienced as he realized his master and friend was god? He had amazing moments of courage during Jesus' ministry like the walking on water scene where he stepped out of the boat. After the resurrection he became BRAVE. He no longer feared death and was one of the biggest heroes of the church... in fact the very foundation of it.
This video explores that transformative friendship. I hope it inspires you as it did me.
One of the greatest thing about Peter is that he was a messed up person full of flaws... just like us. If Jesus reaches out to use people like him to change the world, he can use us too. All we have to do is step out of the boat.

What a beautiful relationship Peter had with Jesus. What a privilege to see God in the flesh, His miracles, His love, His resurrection and ascension to heaven. Peter had so much conviction of Jesus and the truth. All His life dedicated to preaching the good news. And dying for His savior (upside down since he felt unworthy to die like Jesus did) Peter is in heaven happy and peaceful ❤❤
