It’s so comical that Melvin can dish as many insults as he wants, but when he delivers a compliment, it drains all of his energy 😂🤚

This film is a masterpiece on so many levels. One of the gems is seeing Nicholson's character struggle with expressing his positive feelings (insults and complaints come much more easily). I know many men with similar dispositions and I've never seen it done so tenderly as it is in this movie.
@JayS.-mm3qr6 ай бұрын
Profoundly unrealistic. He has no empathy. Thats why he doesnt even realize when he is being a jerk. Uses money to buy this girl's favors. The guy is a narcissist. Hes not even trying to be "better". He just wants this girl and thinks if he acts more like her, he will get her.

The music, the camera movement, the romantic athmosphere, him being so lovely, sexy and relaxed by just watching her, the way she reacts when she sees him, the way he smiles and waves at her to come over.
