I took away a lot from this conversation. As a parent, a teacher, a human. Teaching in a city, and trying to create a safe space in the classroom where all the children feel "their sense of okay, and comfort" is a challenge. There is a lot of education and support needed in school systems, on this topic. Thank you both for sharing your knowledge.

That’s wonderful to hear, Kay. Sarah’s way of explaining the convoluted nature of our nervous system makes it really digestible and my hope is that it can be applied to classrooms like yours.
