@sophisticatedsoph1 actually it has alot more to do with the production and quality of the recording than anything else. They are produced in huge studios with big time producers these days, I'd be surprised if they didn't pay for this ep off their own backs and produced it themselves, thus the vocals sound differently after mixing (I.e his vocals weren't tracked in the same way they are now)
