If you're using the new hair systems in Blender 3.3+, you have to have the Interpolate Geometry Tree/Node on the hair, it doesn't work with just children it seems. Thank you for the awesome tutorial!

So i want to do this for the orange fur, white fur and the black fur but maybe with some bleed over and I haven't been able to figure it out. When I plug the Mix node into the Principled Hair BSDF color, the hair goes dark and shows no color. But plugging the BSDF with it's own color into Material Output, or the Mix node with no BSDF into Material Output, works fine. Any idea why? (in Eevee BTW)

Melanin = color that turns your hair or skin darker. Melatonin = drug you take in order to help you sleep. ;)
