I kept going back. It got worse and worse. Then I woke up one morning to find he had moved out while I slept, after 12 years. I tried so hard. I lost the house and farm to foreclosure and was homeless. Finally found him by a pi, he was living in Vegas with a stripper and her 3 kids. The anniversary of waking up all alone is June 20, 2017. I found him, got a divorce and settlement in 2019 and bought a small fixer in a new town and started over. It's been a long scary road. God was with me the whole time though, and I made it. I still wonder what I did so wrong? New adventures await, and I think I'll just remain single! Less confusing and I feed hummingbirds instead of hide now💖

What's ironic is: The narcissist is miserable within themselves, so they try to compensate by making everyone around them miserable to make themselves feel or seem better. Victims of lifetime narcissistic abuse are made miserable because of having to dodge and run and take cover from years of narcissistic abuse. After a while, the lines between love and hate blur, so much so we can't see that difference anymore.

Michael that last statement was true in my own life for most of my life. God allowed the last heinous narc attack to awaken me from the conditioning of childhood narc ABUSE. I was awakened within 30 days and it resulted in reactivated CPTSD and two straight years to recovery from such a brief encounter. Yet God in HIS beautiful mercy knew how deeply unconscious I was to this conditioning, and I could not see my own value. That changed through the experience. How I instinctively knew to disengage from the narc and go no contact and never look back threw the narc into an all-out tailspin. He knew nothing of my childhood, and never thought I would go from Yellowstone geyser of supply to door slam. It shocked us both. I stopped the cycle, God was waiting for me to make that first move. God is healing me ever since. Blessings to you in your journey. Even if our life story is like a trilogy of books the first two are gee wiz how much worse can it get! The last will be WOW I didn't see that coming...that's sooooooooo amazing! Glory to GOD!

QOTD- I gave my ex-narc a second chance, before I knew about narcissism. He claimed to have changed, started going to church with me, got baptized, served, and prayed with me. I thought God kept me single for 10 years because He wanted my family restored, and I never stopped praying for my ex. However, it was all an act, and he used God to come back. I am amazed at the level of deception and the depth he went to hide his secret life.

I'm 43 met a beautiful 29 yr old with no kids she told me about all her prior abusive relationships and how everyone treated her like garbage and she wants kids but never met the right man till now I stayed single for 3.5yrs to focus on me and the night we met I went out to ask another girl out and it seemed like fate intervened and she just met the man of her dreams well I proposed 4months later and was happy to oblige her with kids because I felt I had me the girl of my dreams and technically If I lived on elm street it wouldve been true. She was a walking red flag as my niece put it and she has a masters in psychology, however I wish she had told me that at christmas wouldve saved me several thousand. Well now I'm broke financially and heart wise.

Yes I went back 3 times, he left for 3 months, the next time 9, the next time 18 months and had lived with someone else for that time, every time he left a huge argument would be created over something minor, all my faults would be pointed out and i was told that we had grown apart and were better as friends. Everytime he came back he would tell me how he had tried to be with other people but it just wasn't the same, that we had a special connection and so much history, and I fell for it hook Line and sinker everytime only to be treated with less respect each time and be discarded when someone else crossed paths with him and seemed a better option. It's been four years since the final discard. At the end I was so angry with myself for allowing myself to he treated like this, but the biggest casualty of all of this is my now 18 year old son who is starting to think about his Dad and is full of confusion about what happened and why his Dad doesn't have much to do with him, except, when he has a new partner and needs to show what a great Dad he is. Guys don't put yourself through it. Only let the narcissist show you who they really are once, and believe that. Don't ever let yourself get fooled into thinking you're made a mistake by letting them go. If they see you happy and doing well they will only come back to try and demolish you again.

I now believe he had already turned our mutual friends against me, and the immediate disrespect i got in one evening was so shocking. After a decade of mental, emotional, and eventual physical abuse that started with him then i began finally reacting back. I helped this man so much because i felt like i was helping younger ME, if i was allowed to feel or just be. I always knew he was weak, but after years i fell into the cycle of lovebombing, emotional abuse, the cut off, then back to lovebombing when i do what he wants. Its been a year now. I feel like you made this video just for me. I don't know how you do it Dave, the only way you possibly could speak to me so clearly without even knowing who I am is nothing but God. Every time my ex narc would discard me he would come back to me skinny as a rail. Last time he was about 180 lbs in July and when he came back in November he weighed 165 and looked like death. I literally remember thinking he couldn't even feed himself. It's so crazy how you know my story word for word sometimes. I relate to you so much, God definitely got through to me via the narcissist. I was not living right and needed a good knock on the head. God put the narc in my life to knock some sense into me. After leaving and coming back home I met a woman who led me to God and changed my life forever. I did go back several times. The last time was the last time. Why I went back is the big question.,he finished me off like discarded peel rinds.. Before I left (in debt)..standing by my car, I collapsed with a nervous breakdown. I managed to pick myself up and drive 12 hours HOME. I ended up in the hospital with a collapse spine & fracture back. (don’t ask how that happened.) but it was hospital, flat on my back, realizing I had escaped a monster. What's scary is you do move on and they keep trying to come back. I have blocked the one that I was with and he still keeps finding clever ways come through then he has a nerve start another account Instagram and have the nerve to come in on mine I took my platform down and I will not put it back up I'm sick of this person I want the empty meat suit to take his Halo self and go away

I discarded the malignant narcissistic husband I’m still currently married too I plan on divorcing him he is blocked on everything no contact so a few days ago popped up at my place outside the window calling my name saying he has a credit card coming in the mail no response from me at all didn’t say one word to him,nothing was in the mail for him at all used it as a excuse .
