I don't know why, but doing that exercise immediately removed the pulling feeling I had in my chest earlier. Not sure if the exercise is supposed to do that, but thanks anyway, man.

the 1 dislike is everyone who think they can't sing but take no advice X'D

I'm the third to dislike...because I don't appreciate him comparing himself to Hitler. Has nothing to do with his ability to vocal coach.

Hi Carl. I keep hearing "release" in your videos but haven't found the one where you introduce the term. @6:08 came close but I missed it. Does the it mean bring the chords apart? Like the opposite of compress? Thanks!

This was helpful, but one thing that i noticed is that i transition to head voice around B above middle C (b4?) I struggle to transition well. It's whispery and weak and somewhere in between Head and Falsetto, I think that's where my vocal break is but when i do sirening it doesnt appear to be there, is this because the chords are still weak, if so how can i strengthen them?

finding more detail in the coordinations eliminates airiness, this takes time and often guidance.

Hey. My frnd smokes cigarettes, he still sings pretty good for an untrained guy. Will the smoking effect his singing?

long term yes, short term no.

Öhm... while I like to dabble in music from time to time with various instruments to have fun (not that I'm particular good in anything), I mainly looked at "singing lessons" in order to gain more general control over my voice. But dang, your content is a gold mine and I'm kinda sad that it sits here a year without beieng noticed. It moved me to a point that I might even consider to pickup singing as a hobby ;-D keep it up.

Hey john :) I saw on your main chanel that you react a lot to BTS song, it's how i knew you ^^ and i would love to send a a little cover of the truth untold ^^ it's not perfect as BTS but i hope it's not too bad :D could i send that to you and could you tell me how to improve my voice at least for this song cause i'm too poor to have real voice class :') And of course i will try to follow your class here but for now i can't even prononce the bouuh like you :')

Hy Carl, what´s up! I only reach these high notes like squeezing when I wake up or when I didn´t do the warm ups. When I´m singing at concerts and my chords are warmed up, I can´t reach this register, the Mickey Mouse sound, you know! Another thing, is that I just reach high notes when singing with a very low volume! Help me please!

If you lack balance you'll generally either flip or reach, if you vocalize in the center regularly this will no longer happen.

This is just great. Your lessons are really helpful and youre a very good singer and teacher. But the Hitler joke was not funny.
@stephss4 жыл бұрын
You are very common to Hitler? Either that is a very clever way of outing yourself as a fascist, or a terrible way to compare your coaching strategy. Hitler's "style" shouldn't he emulated or mocked. I'm rather disappointed, I was liking your content.

Hey this video is from a while ago, apologies if it was offensive I often take things a bit far but I'm OK, best of luck with your singing 👍🏻
