Thank you yet again! I'd like to suggest sonething. Instead of starting all over again, you should continue your run. Of course this does not count as a runout. On one hand you "get to finish" (positive fuzzy feelings) and you get to shoot all the shots needed. Many times in drills, if one is stuck in the early stages, one only gets to shoot a couple of different shots. Drill 1 runout, 1st ever, yesterday. Drill 2 runout today. Drill 3, a few til 12.

Now I wonder how many people will see me doing this and want to interrupt me like always. I'll just practice stop shots or something to work on keeping down and straight cueing, and without a thought it's hey wanna play, and being the only nine foot table in the place I feel obligated to say yes. Soon I pray I will have a nice nine footer and a house, to provide the best ability to practice undisturbed. Thanks again for the video and confidence boost. Your the best.

In my opinion, you have a way of conveying what works for you and why that results in a clear understanding of the subject matter for your audience. You are an excellent teacher. Keep it up. Appreciate ya.

I was practicing at my local pool hall once and newbies on the table next to me would just stand near my table, instead of repeatedly asking them to move I just started to play position to avoid asking them to move. I ended up getting used to not using that side of the table.

Never seen this drill before as I have never 'practiced' pool, but used to play friends regularly, usually just in local bars that had tables. I stopped playing when my cue was stolen, probably about 10 years ago. Just recently I have started playing again, bought a new cue & a membership to my local club. This video has me wanting to sneak off the the pool hall immediately! Really helpful video, much appreciated.

I wish I had started this drill when I first started playing pool two years ago. I’m still on the first drill so far my best is 13 balls. What’s great about this drill is it feels like you are playing pool because every shot is different. You definitely deal with pressure and frustration LOL

“Fantastic! Thank you so much!” “It’s Mind blowing-ly Profound to me for whatever reason, that by having so much less to think about actuallly makes coaching myself and practicing on my own feel more like going to a practice with a coach present cause im able to just tune in to the visual feel of completing the drill or feeling like practice was productive at the very least!” “I concur. All those variations using the same set up is efficient! I think it’s the efficiency that makes it so exciting again.” “Yes!. Coming up with stuff in drill form to work on was robbing a ton of the reward from putting in the work, whereas now it’s the freedom a nice long session of sessions instead of something that ive done ten times and now bored with and practicing sloppy or lazy to negative benefit.” “One might argue that just being on the table is better than not, but in agreeance sir, I would counter that with the idea that feeling disappointment in the time getting wasted on poor effort subtly grows into an under-vibe of negativity that builds internally eventually becoming frustration if unprocessed which manifests itself mentally in various multitudes of emotional ways and exhibited as a whole spectrum of outwardly expressed behaviors, depending on the individual of course, that range from unnoticeable and mild to noticeably obvious and apparent all the way up to embarrassing where outbursts become total losses of composure!” “Well done, my dear Watson!” …”BRILLIANT!” …”Absolutely brilliant!!!”😂

What about the variation where the balls are in random order in a line? You do all solids 1st then all stripes and sink the 8 last. That is a hard one from Ed Lewis. I also like his circle drill

You have a great product here. Keep this content coming. Like the separate room sitting with explanation, then showing the exercise. I don't like the time on next drill. I was in advertising and just putting my backside opinion into your videos. Thank you for your content, as I am thinking this is a hobby that I want to explore in the near future. As you are a professional and have great content. I can see it progress with each video. As I will use it when starting my journey. Thank you

Awesome lesson! Thanks! Question: Do you reset and start from scratch if you make a mistake? Or do you keep shooting and repeat the drill?
@TrueAzrael
@TrueAzrael Жыл бұрын
I can't answer this one for Jasmin, but I would just reposition the object ball in question and cue ball and do the shot again or remove the object ball and continue on. Setting the whole thing up again probably takes too much time if you miss regularly. When you get better you can probably reset the whole thing. But I like doing more shots in shorter time opposed to using my time to set up the drill over and over again.
@rolltideroll8250
@rolltideroll8250 Жыл бұрын
I would like to explain your aiming? You don't start off looking at the path of the object ball. When I'm in stroke shots come automatic for me. If I'm missing, I have to stand behind the object ball to see the correct line. If you could just expand on your method, it would be nice. Great videos.

Just point out that level 1 and 2 are not for begginers. I would say are for intermediate players, not any begginer can make the 1 and 2. And the variation 3 is already for an upper intermediate player.
