You MUST TRY THIS in Cebu, Philippines! (Canyoneering/Cliff Jumping!) 🇵🇭

I am a massive adrenaline junkie so as soon as I heard about Kawasan Falls Canyoneering in Cebu Philippines, I had to go and try it for myself! Unfortunately the main waterfall was closed whilst we were there so we ended up doing the Alegria Wonderfalls route instead.. Regardless and @kayyywild still had an absolutely amazing time regardless with our two amazing guides. This is by far the best tourist experience I did in the Philippines and something I could quite happily do every day! The scenery is beautiful, the water is refreshing and crystal clear and I just love to chuck myself from heights 😂

I have traveled abroad for quite some time, and until now, my Canyoneering experience in Cebu way back from its original form (before the earthquake happened and you can jump high to the waterfalls) was one for the booked. Hopefully this 2024 I can visit Cebu again to create another amazing memories.

We did do the sardines but it didn't really come out as a very good video so I might have to go back and do a better job of it at some point haha. As for the whale sharks, personally I would rather see them in the open ocean. Thanks for the support as usual brother! 😄

From Nov-May there’s a place in Southern Leyte it’s called Pintuyan where Whale Sharks visit as a part of their migration. You can free dive with the whale sharks and feeding them is prohibited. It’s on my bucket list.

There was a very strong typhoon that hit the place and uprooted many trees near Kawasan falls, so it’s been closed for more than 2 years I think. I was able to visit Kawasan when I lived in Cebu and it’s majestic.

One of my favorite things to do in Cebu! There are so many activities to do in the Philippines! Not sure if you're into diving but if you get a change there are plenty of great spots in the country!

@@TheJourneyofJosh Awesome! I think you'd love the diversity if you ever get a chance to stay for a few months. My first dive there was at Tubbataha. I love it for the big pelagics and it's biodiversity. The diving season is limited to mid March- mid June but definitely the best diving spot in the entire country. But if you only have a short time and want to see as much as possible, you can do a liveboard out of Cebu that sails around the Visayas. They'll take you to Malapascua island to dive with thresher sharks and if you're lucky even see some hammerheads. Gato island is great for the 100ft tunnel and Moalboal has the sardine run. Not as big as in South Africa but it's beautiful. If you prefer land diving, Mactan Island has great shore diving, wall and drift diving. Puerto galera has wrek diving, turtles, reef sharks and 800+ species of nudibranchs. The night diving there is also top notch! Coron is best for historic wrecks. There are 11 wrecks accessible to recreational divers and you can earn your wreck diver certification too. The WWII wrecks are amazing! If you do coron by liveboard there's a good chance that you get to visit Apo reef! Apo Island is also great. You can literally dunk your head in the water and be face to face with turtles! I hope this helps if you get a chance!
