I had this happened on Zepbound when I went up from 5mg to 7.5mg. I never used another 7.5 pen and went back to 5mg. I didn't go to the hospital but I was close to going.

I had gallstones years ago and what you’ve described sounds exactly like that. I would say it probably passed which is why the pain suddenly went away, and came on after you’d eaten something fatty.

I ended up in A&E today - very high bilirubin levels. Stopped taking Mounjaro 2 weeks ago. Have been advised to not take it again. Shame because I love all the fantastic weight loss stories.

My diabetic nurse told me that if you get pains across your stomach get help straight away it could be trouble of pancreatic problems don’t leave it. The other thing it could be is kidney stones. I have had in the past trouble with kidney stones but about 15 years ago when I worked in a hospital I suddenly had stomach ache at first I thought they were period pains but my supervisor sent me to A&E I waited from 9.30 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon to get seen. The pain got so bad I can honestly say it was worse than having a baby. I say in A&E holding kidney dish after kidney dish just throwing up constantly about every 5 minutes. When I was finally called to have an x-ray I finally saw the doctor and had a needle in his had I pulled my trousers down and just told him to just stitch it in I was by that time in so much pain I practically begged him to stop the pain. That was renal colic and I had a stone which got stuck scraped along the tube and scratch it sending it into spasms. Please I also believe in the spirit realm but they helped you then but you now have to help yourself and get that pain checked out.

That’s sounds like gallstones attack from the fat of the food you ate . It’s not the Mounjaro, it’s the fasting you are having, fasting can cause gallstones, if those stones goes down to the pancreas than can cause pancreatites.. I use to have attacks like the one you describe, and it would go away the same way it came. Last year I had to remove my gallbladder. Ask your GP to do a scan. I am glad you are feeling better.

Oooh I can sympathise… I had horrific gallbladder issues and had a huge inflamed gallbladder, the bouts of pain was worse than any childbirth I have had… once that gallbladder was out the pain was gone… hopefully it was a one off xx

Sorry you were unwell and happy you are better now. I do believe in healing as I do reflexology myself. But haven’t had experience of healing at that level. You should get yourself checked out though. It’s very common to have gallstones. Many people do have them without being aware. So it’s definitely a good idea to get yourself checked medically. Can you share what’s wrong with your thyroid ? ❤

Hi hun, i had a goiter pushing on the windpipe, half out now so all good, yes i am getting checked out too. I too was blown away with the healing, il take it as that and always amazed at the lengths spirit goes to, me being such a non believer for a very long time lol x

It does sound like gallstones. Lamb can be very fatty and it could have set something off. I had my gallbladder out in 1999, before that everything that has too much fat in it set it off. Glad you’re better but do see your Gp. Merry Christmas. I’m on second week of mounjaro, 7lb off 😊 x

Sounds like a gall stone attack. You should have an ultrasound to check. It comes and stops so suddenly and is excruciating.

You really shouldn't be on Weight loss jabs my lovely with thyroid issues. What you describe is a classic gall stone attack. You need an ultrasound love and possible surgery for removal. I think the fatty lamb you ate set it off, classic symptoms. My surgeon said he'd never seen such an impacted gall bladder in 30 years! All caused, in my case, by yo yo dieting. Please get it sorted ❤

you can live with gallstones if they dont cause much of an issue and a low fat diet is needed, no processed meat.

you can go on Mounjaro as long as you are not on meds which i wasnt, please dont worry, i have always done this with medical advice and all the docs said ok, wouldnt be on it otherwise! I am getting the gallbladder scanned just to check it out. Yes i do also believe any low cal diet brings on gallstones, keto, atkins, they are all blamed on gallstones! thanks for your kind words. x
