Salam alaikum You are doing a wonderful job. I think you should continue in this way without the subtitles. Best way to learn the language is using the language itself. This is from my experience with learning ither languages

I always say that, but people don't agree with me and continuesly ask me to include subtitles for every individual word, so sometimes I deliberately ignore it because I want them to focus on Arabic and immerse themselves to it unconsciously.

From experience I think sub titles slows the learner as you just easily concentrate on the English equivalent of the sentence. Translating new or vocabulary is the best way. Also this is not for beginner I believe.
