Honestly, Recon + any shotgun is my favorite combo in this game. It's just so satisfying! Also back when I was a wee robo (~40hrs), my first hard difficulty completion was with shovel only on Recon and I've been chasing that high ever since.

Yes! I was just thinking about how we haven’t had a Grandma’s Shotgun run since your very earliest videos (maybe 5th or 6th video? The one with the Iris fight redemption run), and here you are with it! Also, I don’t understand you consistently turning down Lollipop. You have Kazoo, Gas Lighter, and Crab Key Ring. I think those are all of the self-burn items, and you love firerate.

Burn only get applied to you if you have scratch damage. Meaning that it will only apply if I get hit. Ideally that isn’t happening, and there’s plenty of times where I am successful in flawlessing bosses. So while I may take lollipop if it’s not hurting my cell economy or forcing out what I deem to be a better option, it isn’t a priority.

@ So it’s not that Gas Lighter (for example) suddenly sets you on fire when you reload, it’s that it burns up your repairable scratch damage, which you try not to have? I thought burn created scratch damage, which was then easily repairable.

Correct, it only burns up scratch damage if it is already present. If no scratch damage is present, burn will not activate.

Do you know if elementalist is fixed now after the recent update, and if so are you going to do some runs with them soon? I know you normally prefer doing weapon focused runs but I'd really love to see you do an ability build for that class

Yeah, I used to love DE but every since they got bought out and they literally have been caught squashing accounts of people who criticize the game in any real place, using their accounts as news accounts, resetting leader boards after dev players get their scores beaten? Yeah no. They do damn good work, and the fact it's free is amazing, but I have zero faith in that company when it comes to people.

Woah, woah, woah, what? Is there a source for any of that because I have never heard of any of that. The only time I’ve ever seen them “squash” an account was when nooblshowtek got banned for posting exploits to his KZbin constantly. I still disagree with that decision, but it was also like 5 years ago and that’s also the only time I’ve personally heard any of that.
