It can be helpful to learn what you like and don’t like by trying other people’s sens, particularly players with a really low sens or a mouse multiplier. Those are the types of things most people won’t experiment with by just changing sliders. I tried on Stewie2k’s sens years ago and liked it so much that I still use it to this day. Obviously, I didn’t become Stew, but I did find a sens that made my personal aim and mechanics a lot better.

let's say i didn't change this basic 0.2 multiplyers in files. I use mostly 800/1100 dps on mouse and i have sensitivity set on 5. By default i have ADS on 60. With this information what should i set on 1.0x 1.5x and 2.0x ? I am new to the game so I will use only those scopes for now.

just a tip, if you have a weak cpu but a decnt gpu then put textures on medium. it will put the load on your gpu to give your cpu breathing room and it will make the game look better like skins and other cosmetics. i got more fps with textures on medium. LOD quality is fine at medium as well, ultra is excessive. if anything don't go above high for any settings. ultra is for screenshots not for playing. also going into the gamesettings file in documents, turn off 'motionblur' by setting it to '0'.

I get 144 fps in all ultra settings so it doesn't really matter, but my problem is the damn screen tearing and motion blur as for some reason the setting for motion blur won't change for me and it never saves (so goddamn annoying) and vsync is always enabled, I can temp fix it by using free sync but it just doesn't feel the same, so it sucks having high fps but graphical glitches

Anti-aliasing on T-AA gives more frames and didnt notice difference om graphics, and on amd if you put perfomance it boosts the fps but also takes a bit of graphics

He is saying that a sensitivity of 10 was a little too fast, but 9 was a little too slow, so by changing his multiplier to .002, he is able to adjust between the two sensitivities. So based on my understanding, Beaulo essentially plays on a 9.2 sensitivity, which is not possible unless you change the multiplier in the game files.

Ty for the video. I'm day 1 transitioning into PC and MnK from Console. I was on 2400 DPI today and getting headshots more often in T-hunt, but literally everything else felt worse compared to my PS5 Controller (Recoil control, fluid movements, creating tiny peeks and tight angles, etc.). Especially the WASD. I can see how the Mouse is superior by a lot but man, how do y'all use WASD, it really feels like the Stone Age, lol. I watched a few "Finding your Sens" videos tonight so I know some DPI's (400, 800) and RB6 H/V, ADS settings to put on next time I play. But forgive me for asking, what did he mean when he said "when your sensitivity is under 10 and not 11, 12"? Thanks to anyone with advice.

I think his sense was below 10 on a high dpi but 11 and 12 were too fast so he increased his multiplier in the game files and made it to where 92 is actually 9.2 on 400 dpi

When you launch the game you should have 2 options one is to launch r6 which will use dx11 and you won't have those options. The other is to launch r6 using Vulcan which is when those options should show if you have a nvidia card

literally, anything that just feels "natural" I love how 800 dpi feels for me and I play good on it over other dpi's etc and I've spent years slowly fine-tuning my sens until I found my perfect sweet spot and then just improved on that by practicing. that's all you need to do, find what feels good for you. It's a pain and a grind in the short run to find a natural feeling sens but it shouldn't feel forced you should see a target and know exactly how much to move your mouse, then practice once you've found it to improve your overall consistency.
