The SAME FNSKU for all the different products?? That can't be correct. Did you mean something else? The FNSKU can't be the same on 20 different products that I'm selling. How would that work for identification and inventory purposes? Super confused about why you'd say that.

Each FNSKU will include the ASIN it is assigned to. So think of them as: ASIN - Product ID. FNSKU - Item tracking ID.

In this case, i need to buy company prefix...now the confusion comes in...since my brand name is different from my company name. This shouldn’t be a problem! Our Company Name is: Jungle Scout, while our Brand Name is: Jungle Creations! A lot of companies have many different Brand names. Have you Trademarked your Brand Name? This may help!

Thank you for your informative video. Why once I went to seller central to print barcodes for my products, my ASIN barcode was printed out instead of the FNSKU barcode? At the time I listed my product the setting was set to FBM. My supplier already was given barcode labels that start with BO instead of XO. Now that I realized my mistake I have changed the setting to FBA. Once I go to Inventory/ Manage All Inventory / click Edit / scroll down to print barcodes/ it is still not changing to print barcodes from my ASIN to a FNSKU barcode label. How to fix this? Would my products get commingled? Thank you kindly for your advise.

you may need to check the the FBM has been changed to FBA; contact seller central to be sure so you can acquire the right barcodes!

Sorry for confusion the product id(UPC) does have to be obtained from GS1 before listing the product. I tried finding the specific time for when this is mentioned but couldn't.

How strict in amazon on requiring a country of origin label on the product itself? I can place it on the packaging, but it will be difficult to put on product and more costly due to having to make a label on fabric. Any way around this requirement?

We don't recommend altering the FNSKU to avoid potential problems when it gets scanned in the Amazon Fulfillment Centers. You can try reprinting the FNSKU code from your shipping plan.

Hi. The seller is responsible for labeling your product with a barcode. You can also ask your supplier to put the barcode on the product. You can purchase barcodes from organizations like GS1 US or generate them using a barcode generator tool. Once you have your barcodes, attach them to your product packaging in a clear, easily scanned location. Sometimes, the supplier may charge an additional fee for applying the barcode.

Would the curvature of the bottle be a problem and would it need to be printed on a flat surface? I also noticed your FNSKU was behind your plastic sheet packaging - presumably the reflectivity doesn't affect it and I wouldn't need to get a matte printing finish for my FNSKU? Thanks

What will be the bottle's packaging? Using a box/flat surface is better to prevent any issues scanning the FNSKU. The transparent plastic should not be an issue, as it is common for brand-new products to have a plastic
