Great coverage, looking forward to receiving mine hopefully soon! Placed my order back in September saying November release but I guess they're a bit delayed! Also placed the order when they were just saying Hall effect, now seeing they've upgraded them to TMR makes me even more excited! Glad they've got RAW mode for greater diagonals and accuracy too. Heck yeah thanks brother ! I’m learning a little bit more after filming this a few details. I need to do a follow up. They told me the samples they sent me didn’t have the tighter spring so the retail samples you guys get will indeed have that much needed tighter spring. Them also being tmr is definitely a huge plus for fps shooter. The more I play the more i can really tell a big difference. I’ll make a follow up soon to share some extra info. I hope retail models ship out next week

I prefer theses 100%. There’s only one Hall effect kit for the ally x model and it says “tighter” but it’s just comparing its tightness to the original ally. It’s the same tightness imo as The stock ally x. If it’s any tighter I sure can’t tell but I enjoy the feel and the accuracy and range of motion added. So cod matches are even better now. And I have a jsaux transparent backplate kit being shipped right now so that will be shown very soon. 🤠🤠💕

Totally unrelated to this Video, I was watching some of your tuning videos just got a ally x and I’m just curious as to why on COD my fps reader in the corner has a afmf warning sign, and how to resolve that, love your vids btw, hopefully I’ll muster up the courage to do that d-pad mod and the caps

Howdy. Be sure to go into the amd settings menu and on armory crate. Turn off fmf or fluid motion frames and also turn off any frame gen. Only use anti lag for cod. Also use auto vram for black ops to make the textures load properly. 8gb doesn’t do it for the ally x like mw3

@ 6:34 button one (k1 outer circle limit @ 7:42 button two (k2 center dot) I definitely covered both buttons and why you have to set both

Question CPPC TEK, I ordered the hall effect joystick October 28 as soon as i saw you youtube video saying they where available to order. i still haven't gotten my hall effect joysticks. How long did they take for yours to come in the mail. I've contacted HandheldDIY they said it was a preorder that Shipments are anticipated to begin around early December.... i cant even track my shipment on shop app cause it over 30 days.

You indeed pre ordered them. I got an exclusive first look on these as part of my review process. Yours will still ship. Review units always get shiped ahead of retail samples so reviewers can check everything out and just give it a final qc sometimes no worries it’s coming

The tightness imo feels the same as the ally x already tighter springs. I think they meant they are tighter than the original ally. But if they are tighter than the X stock I have no sense of that. It feels way more accurate and way more range of motion so it’s a big win where I need it. I kinda wish they were indeed tighter but…. Stay tuned I might have a mod for that lol 😂 a mod for a mod

@ yes because I like the tightening of the joysticks of the PS5 I thought I would have the same feeling it's great that the joysticks return quite quickly to their initial position on the PS5

Cool, I ordered them a while back. Used your code and got another ten percent off. Got them for 25$. Got the ps5 extremerate glow in the dark clear sticks to add when they finally arrive. Can’t wait for them. How is the stiffness of the stick compared to the original ally x? Really hope they are a bit more stiff than the ones on the ally x now. Thanks for the video

TMR and Hall Effects are 2 seperate sensors from what I've read so idk why they put both in the description on the website but I did order some just from what you've said last night in your stream.

I mention into the video that both the ally x and ps5 thumbstick caps work. As far as The modules themselves you have to buy the ones with the board attached linked in the video description. It’s the only Hall effect kit that works for the ally x. Definitely watch this in full and you’ll learn a lot. I cover a ton of really helpful info along the way

@ yes I ordered the Hall effect sticks a couple weeks ago on watching your video, I see the sticks on the module will fit the stick toppers but I heard you mentioned rubbing I will try to replace the stick topper with my custom Xbox sticks and will report back 🫡

Hmm my stock analog sticks have avg error of like 8 I thought hall would give them zero like other handhelds with hall effect

Some handhelds digitally limit it to appear better but the shape isn’t ideal for certain games. Having extra input is better and being able to hit at least every part of the circle. The stock ally x had issues hitting the outside perfectly in the 45 degree zones

We shouldn't need to be doing this for a expensive handheld like this. Let's hope Asus and other handheld makers start using hall effect sticks as standard. Looking at you Nintendo. I will use your code to get a set for my Ally X. It's seems easy enough for me to fit.

I do wish ASUS would have gave us Hall effect Sticks but I also like having a few things left to mod myself lol.
