@@mzimasimaqanda8998 Grace, peace, and joy, to you and your loved ones. I've always heard it's better to "humble" yourself than to ask God to do it. I studied with a few ministers, during a crisis time in my life, that are very passionate about knowing who we are in Christ, now that we believe we are a new creation, and how much God loves us. I was so humbled, it changed my life. The Peace of God began to grow in me like never before. I developed more love for God, and others, that I didn't know I lacked. That, I wasn't expecting. Focusing on God's love for me, was much more powerful than me trying to love Him more, or, focusing on me and what's wrong with me, and why I couldn't be more loving, kind, compassionate, etc.. It humbled me, and still does when I think about His love for me. I had to get my eyes off me and on to Him. It's not about us, it's all about Him. It's not about what we do or don't do for Him. It's about what HE HAS DONE for us, and what His Word is doing in us, even still. Know His Word. It's the Living Word of God that transforms us into His image. Same. From my mother's womb (whoever she is), I was rejected for 9 months, then put in an orphanage, then 'adopted' by a family that had no time for me. Never fit in school, the neighborhood, churches..... nowhere. It has all been a set up !!!! God Choses His Own before physical birth and then puts them on a path that keeps them from fitting in. I've heard the Lord's voice since I was nine, but I've never heard him on demand. The first time I heard his voice, I was far from spiritual. I knew no scriptures and prayer was even further from me, but I loved attending church. I loved singing and basking in the rainbow of colors streaming through the stained glass windows, but I only tolerated boring sermons of which I never understood. Sermons were for adults, the more spiritual beings, not me. Still, on one Sunday morning, as I sang with the congregation, I heard a voice rise from somewhere within my being, asking. "Do you really mean the words you're singing? Or are they just words off a page?" I glanced around the congregation and wondered about this new found- voice. Was it my own imagination? Had anyone else heard it? Could it be Jesus? Nah, I'm not worthy. But I did skim a few lines from the hymnal to be sure of the probing question and stumbled over the word "bulwark". How could I mean what I sang if I wasn't sure what all the words meant? I couldn't. And so, my confession came with a pouty lip. "They're just words off a page, Jesus," I said, assuming his was the voice I had heard. To which the same sudden, gentle voice of authority replied. "When you worship me, make sure you mean it with all your heart." And that was it. No yelling, no sense of condemnation, and no dangling by the neck over a raging inferno. Just a loving, fatherly-type correction to a little girl who knew no scriptures. Since then and throughout my life, I've read the word and this same still, small voice as depicted in scripture has spoken to my heart and confirmed every word I've shared with others, often leaving them too with wide-eyes and dropped jaws. Even so, now, at the age of 59, having never been to seminary or accomplished anything worthy of discussion, I still wonder why the Lord's Spirit has spoken to a nobody like me? What is my purpose, my calling? Have I missed the boat?

This whole summer starting in June God has separated me from many people in my life. I experienced rejection after rejection. The rejection still continues but at a slower pace. It has been a very difficult and sad time. Even God was being silent. Then last month He started speaking again with Living Water and started revealing His plan for my life. Yes, you provided the right balance here. Because there are believers who misread the word separation to mean to physically separate from the world, to no longer be in the world. Some even encouraging married couples to separate. None of this was taught by the apostle Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles. We are to be separate in regard to sin and unrighteousness. Cheers

Then they had a man physically push me and call me names and laugh at me. They told me to give them my cats which I would never do and kicked me out. The rabbi and his wife think abuse and witchcraft are ok! They've used it especially when they dont like me. I forgive all these people. This makes sense to me on every level. I was separated from my friends at 20 yrs old when I surrendered my life to Christ. Since then I have been involved in one marriage (very bad) now divorced 22 years ago, part of three churches, separated from them because they failed to adhere to God's Word . This is such a helpful message. I am spending nearly all my time right now in silence, listening to God, praying, and in The Word. So many popular messages imply that if we arent socializing (and drinking coffee and eating donuts) with other believers all the time... we are lone and at risk of being attacked by the enemy. @whosoever9122 - Our stories very similar. I have also searched for others of like heart and mind and walk. Once this path is chosen, do you find it difficult to have Christian friends?? It's not easy. My youngest son was sold out for Jesus...then puberty hit and more influence from the world, now he has his feet more in than out. I pray for him for my lost to me firstborn and my husband. Many miracles in prayers, many visions, messages, dreams, some messages gave been confirmed about what is to come. I don't know that we're supposed to connect with others, I've tired over the years and it has not worked out very well. I keep reaching out but there is silence. It hurts but we keep our eye on the prize :)

There is so much there. First God separated from his children, A&E. Even as a son separated from a father, with his inheritance to go out into the world, to return and be accepted by " the Father"... Israel, the people, the priests, etc. And the law was given for that covenant; for Messiah to come, God with us. To speak of the new covenant, to Peter and chosen disciples. And to show new behavior by the Spirit of God; mercy and love to his people for carnal/sin, which is the reason for the garden separation "fruitful and multiply" (even as they multiplied in Egypt/sin/carnal) Then after Jesus separated from his carnal flesh and showed the first fruits of the next covenant/age, he ascended/separated from the Old World, to make the new world "go and prepare a place for you" (the crucifixion is a whole piece in itself). Then the apostles separated from their place, like Abram, and went out to do a new thing. (and there is time, training, experience, walking in the Spirit and listening. You said/written the Spirit said to do something. Well, that was said through a person, and then there must be belief and then action by all parties; and That's a whole other piece) And it goes on and on in "Christianity", even separation from the Jews, after the 3rd century "reset". Even as prophets, pastors, evangelists are called out from the Church. And all believers are called by Messiah,before his ascension, to go out into the world to bring them in. And that includes the Jewish people, of course. Even as they are the root of the tree that was cut-off, for him to shoot forth, even as we shoot forth, and now they are shooting forth. And the nations will all shoot forth...It's been a constant cycle for a reason. (and that's a whole other piece; and I've been consistent in revealing it). Praise Him. This "Calling" is an eternal calling, which comes from our spirits empowered by the Holy Spirit. Our becoming AWARE of The Same Mind that was in Christ Jesus being IN US, reveals clearly what Paul had prayed for us...Ephesians 1: 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the "spirit" of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the "HOPE OF HIS CALLING", and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints... All of this is locked up in our spirits, waiting to be worked out of us by the HOLY SPIRIT of God through our spirits, which in returns "renews this carnal mind" to the Mind and Will of our Father, thus through this OUT WORKING of our spirits, our pacific calling is revealed. It is expressed as "Kings and Priest", beyond any idea we might have had of these two positions, that Revelations clearly reveals Rulers and Intercessors....Revelation 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

I was thinking about purposes - and fulfilling them..... I know The Lord Our God uses EVERYTHING To His GLORY . I'm 67 and occasionally I wonder if I've fulfilled mine....? Then , I wondered if MY purpose was to HELP someone else fulfill theirs....? Is that possible ? God does not consult with us 🙏.... I pray I haven't missed mine .
