I started out a few years back fasting from coffee, social media, and things of that sort before I knew exactly what a fast was and how to do it. A biblical fast is obtaining from all food for a certain period of time. Esther 4:16 (KJV) Most won't get sick or die from doing so. It's that food has become many people's God. To be clear, celibacy is not a fast, as we should not be having sex outside of marriage anyway. In being married, we are not to deny our spouses unless GOD has instructed to do so, Husband and wife agreed upon this or, in other cases, maybe a medical reason, etc. 1 Corinthians 7:5 (KJV) Just like Daniel didn't go on a fast, like most people refer to the Daniel fast. He still ate he had a dietary change. He ate of no pleasant thing Daniel 10:13 (KJV) This message was on time. Thank you, woman of GOD, for speaking to the people as GOD leads you to do so. Hi, so whenever I do something of the lord for spiritual purposes. Sometimes the algorithm can be misleading. God has been vocal and spoken about false prophets but also what we also need to be aware of is how the algorithm can be misleading and demonic too. Another point of view it could be is that, whatever part of journey you are at with God. There could be negative things in your life or within yourself where you fasting for some days probably won't be enough to decrease and destroy what is going on in your life. I have learned when we fast it is not just for starvation but it is to strengthen the spirit and feed our souls with power as we are fasting from our flesh. However just make sure you pray and have God tell you what to do from there. We're you called or did you just decide to do it yourself to fast. Sometimes when you fast by yourself it's okay but when you fast and Pray to God then you will know what is the right path and position for you to be in whichever God had appointed you to. Peace 🤍
