Very interesting, I love these videos regarding navigation as much as your awesome fish catch videos, thank you for both. I think it's a product of too many boats (people) in Florida that don't respect the nature difference's of given lakes, the difference's are huge from lake to lake. You HAVE to educate yourself on any body of water that you plan to navigate.

Thank you so much for telling those people to get out of the boat trails. It's a pain in the ass to slow and hit..... I run Way North on the the of clewiston. Hate when you see them right in the middle of the boat trails I fly right by then....... The same at headwaters..... Thanks for telling them that I am a recreational fisherman try to get out there every Saturday and you start to see how's our there every weekend. A boat trail is NOT a marked navigation lane. So it is their right too fish there as much as you running there.

I was thinking about coming down for the month of June . My boat will get up in 2’ feet of water would I have any trouble getting around, I also have hydraulic plate so I can jack it up.

I love your videos. Not sure if I agree with ya on this one. If you have a jackplate, trim tabs and trim on your motor you surely (especially in your boat) can come off pad in a foot and a half of water and not damage props etc. sounds more like people don’t want the hassle of doing the right thing. Coming off plane to idle by or for that matter get out of the running lanes when they see a heavy footed boat driver coming. That’s obviously my opinion but won’t make me stop watching your good vids. 👊🏼👊🏼

Even with all of that, if you come around a corner, sometimes you don't have time. Example, me today, having to get towed in lol. No bueno

@@tightsplicecharters9976 yeah I get it. We get ran over all the time where I live in Charlotte Harbor. Sometimes I run over people when there’s no other option. My point was that when we’re on plane running it’s our responsibility as drivers to do whatever we can to not run someone over. Getting towed in is definitely no bueno. We’ve all been there I am sure. 😞

This is good to know I have a new Bass boat and get mad whenever someone is fishing in boat lane and I slow down and then have to get back on plan. No more slowing down. Thank for the information.

The lake has been maintained at too high a level for too long. Native vegetation has struggled to come back. It's too bad

Used to be, a boat owner knew how to "drive" a boat other than just nailing the throttle and getting up on plane then balls out and whomever or whatever was in the way just had to deal with it. If your generation spent the time learning "how" to navigate water and selectively tailor your driving to the conditions and obstacles that come about as you do on electronics and bashing real fishermen, you'd be might be considered a person who comprehended things when you were growing up. Funny you use the analogy of traffic because in this case, courtesy goes to the "fisherman" trying to "fish", more time than often the objective when folks are on the water.
