As someone who likes to emulate real life animations, ProPlay completely revived my love for the game lol great video and can’t wait to see what you cook up in 25

Me too but im so disappointed with 24 cuz the movement is so stiff compared to 2k16 like how can a game that was released 8 yrs ago have smoother gameplay than now. I hope 2k’s gonna fix it cuz i really wanna enjoy a 2k game

Why 2k doesn’t explain or have an advanced tutorial explaining this is BEYOND me. SMH thanks for revealing game changing animations

Proplay has given to me the greatest experience on any 2k, i like to play mynba and mess with tendencies, signatures, everything to make the game more sim like, and there are animations for some players that just dont make sense, for example the lillard hop jumper has only 1 good animation that its "realistic" and so on, so messing with proplay has been a great thing in this 2k

in my opinion with pro play, they got to work on the consistency. I feel like adding more animations can hurt the game because it adds more rng. For example, I have a myplayer with HOF two step and HOF spin cycle. One play, I'll get a good euro step animation wide open; the next play... I'm doing the same input in the same instance and I get a whole new animation that messes me up and potentially gets me blocked at the rim. I'd like if they gave us a choice of what animations come out so we know what we getting into. That's just my opinion though.
@liamstark13902 ай бұрын
That’s based off your layup package tho and it changes depending on what angle you’re driving from, what hand the ball is in and what your dominant hand is for your myplayer as well as where the defender is. It’s very easy to know what animation you’re gonna get for layups lmao
@DaikoLIVE2 ай бұрын
@@liamstark1390 I'm completely aware of that but are you telling me sometimes you go at one angle, get the animation you want... next play you do the same thing and it gives you a terrible animation. You've never experienced that before?

People don’t get it. I play NBA games like Pro Play since NBA Live aired 1996? I am not one of those players who spam dribbles and glitch animation, I am more on avoiding them because its ugly to see, period. Like Jordan, I am a gamer of grace, passion, accuracy. Since NBA 2K23 I felt NBA 2K11 is back and so I enjoyed 2 years playing them Offline on my Era, and for that? I can tell you those are the best 2K we had for almost a decade. I don’t play NBA 2K for Online competetivity, why? Its been 2 decades this people are not good or the technology are not yet here to clean up delay latency input? You know that? Why you waste $$$ playing it competetively Online then? Hahaha! For me, at least they fix the delay input is these NBA 2Ks are meant to play Offline with 2 controllers 1 TV Locally competetively. Not online. Remember, not all OGs are from America. Peace.

I mean I’d say for the older version the the spot up, leaner, some step backs, and post fades were pretty decent. Most of the dribble moves weren’t tho. A great player to showcase ProPlay is Tatum. Just look at his animations last year, 2 years ago, and now this year

I'm from Europe and I've been playing 2k for a total of 5 years, every year I learn something new and I've mastered the game. But this is really tiring every year, they always add something that's good for the game but lack explanations, secondly, they constantly change the shot in the game, why some of the most basic things don't always stay the same as, for example, in football, I mean like in Fifa. You literally have to dedicate yourself to this game as if it were work, how relaxed you want to play.
@Jerseymad932 ай бұрын
Hello and thank you for watching. They’re fortunately fixing this for NBA 2K25 with “learn 2k” so it’s going to show a lot of the controls and moves you can do, with the ability to work on certain skills. Hopefully the shooting stays the same for the entire year in 2k25 but it just takes time and if you’re shooting settings are working for you feel free to experiment until you find the right em settings for you, don’t use settings based on what someone told you

So are these canned animations or can they be interrupted as a defender? Do these apply to the women & older players also, I know this sounds facetious but I'm dead serious in asking. Mind you I am strictly an offline player

Not tryna troll but what is pro play ? Never really caught the concept of it because my play style has always been similar to what I see from other players I like such as snatch backs hop steps post fades etc

how do you time a contested or covered shot? same timing as a wide open/open shot?

Basically. You’re just focusing on your player don’t get distracted by the defender. Also late close outs don’t speed up your shot

It’s essentially making two animations look like one. Example is LeBron’s breakdown into his between the leg step back jumper I showed in this video . That’s two animations but I did it so well it looked like one
