I am not in support of what Tyreek did, however a WR doesn't have the luxury to take less money the way a QB does. QBs are more protected and less exposed to injuries than a WR. Plus endorsements and other off the field opportunities are greater for a QB than a WR. So in that regard I understand a WR doing everything they can to get their money. So it sounds nice to think every player cares most about their legacy, but in reality if you aren't the QB you probably only have 1 big contract in your entire career and that is on the mind of a lot of players during negotiations.

To be fair, Ty Hill had 1800 yards with Tua as QB. The problem is Tua can't be healthy for 17 games. So Ty did quit on this team because without Tua, he doesn't get the ball. And he's looked more interested in his things off the field than in running the correct routes. If the Miami Dolphins had made the payoff, Tyreek would have said nothing. It's when they lose that these players start to cry and complain. Football is a competitive team game. You're either going to win or lose. If you can't accept that, find another occupation where success depends on yourself. Try working a regular job and tell your supervisor or boss you want out. In the nfl, stars are very interchangeable and players overall are much more expendable due to football having more players per team. Along with the nfl being a much more team driven brand rather than player face.

Chiefs were not willing to pay him 25 mil a year, so he went to the dolphins and got 30 mil. So those rings would of cost him 20 mil or more. After his contract would ended with the chiefs in 2026, nobody’s gonna give him big money. His next contract will prob be a 2 year deal for 35 million, which is still possible without the rings.
