Have you used US ammo in your raids? What are your thoughts on it?

One factor I'd love to see touched on, is the fact that 7.62x39 US is subsonic. I'd love to see the sound profile difference, as with my playstyle I prefer to not engage pvp, I'm more of a loot and scoot kinda guy. So the value of minimizing my audio footprint in a match is vital. Especially considering .300 blk isn't available for me yet. Thanks for the video!

That's a great point! I was actually considering talking about the fact that US is subsonic, but it make my script a bit too long haha. As for sound profile, in my experience tarkov doesn't actually take into account whether a round is subsonic or not. Vox_E actually made a super good video discussing that (kzbin.info/www/bejne/fX24XpZ4qJ2ildE), and while it is two years old, I still find the info to be correct in the current day as well. It is kind of depressing that so many features like this aren't actually implemented into the game, since I think way more people would use subsonics in raid. If you want to keep the noise profile as low as possible, I think simply just running a cheap suppressor will be the best option currently. Glad you enjoyed the video!

I agree. There is a bit too much space between each round, and it feels like something is missing to bridge the gap.

I don't use the 7.62 platforms Only on SKSs But I used an AKM with PS full auto for the punisher part 1 and it was ok

If you go full auto, toploading with US can help negate the initial kick tho. Better to hit a few shots with US than to miss completely before recoil control kicks in.

That's actually a really good idea! I never thought about that option. I'll have to test it out and might make a future video about that!

@@StrangeDefusing for me the sweet spot is somewhere between 3 to 5. I'm using PS after, reserving BP for single fire. Also easy to do mid raid, if you get used to the timings.

1. PS has a decent pen chance (38.sm) of going through a lvl 4 armor. 2. Us is underrated for sniping imo

Definitely! PS is definitely not too bad of a round. The only issue I've had with US as a sniping round is it being subsonic. Obviously at

@@StrangeDefusing the best thing is it's subsonic! You can easily whiff you entire mag, and past 80 something meter they will have 0 idea where it's coming from. And you get used to the drop.

just a nitpick but if you are talking about a subject its nice to strictly use gameplay footage of said subject just kinda weird when talking about 762 rounds then watch footage of a vector or ump etc

That’s a fair point. I believe when I made this video all of my footage had gotten deleted by accident, so had to rush to get all this stuff haha, but I agree, it is weird to see…
