is there any requirement needed? Time? Fee?

Great one! Personally i use trello for my lesson planning. Free plan does the job.

Yeah the Trello boards are really similar to the board view in Taskade. Thanks Raf!

Taskade seems great way to organize lesson plans and daily stuff. I have been using Notion but taskade seems more simple. Might switch to taskade. Thanks!
@NewEdTechClassroom2 жыл бұрын
Right on! Yeah we had a meeting with the Taskade team recently and this is exactly what I told them; that they provide a simpler platform than Notion.

I stopped using paper planners back in 1995 or 96. For a while I had to print my notes and plans and paste them into the paper notebooks that admin required. This year we are submitting digitally for the first time. I'm using a simple Word document, but I like the idea of the collaborative access of apps you suggest.
@NewEdTechClassroom2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I used a spreadsheet for a while too before trying out some apps that were a little easier to track and manage :)

@@NewEdTechClassroom You know ... I never thought about using an app 🤔 .... Being forced to go digital with our teaching has really opened me up to all the possibilities for managing the paperwork aspects of this job .... Thanks for helping me think differently!

@@k.c1126 Sure thing. Let me know if you end up trying out Planboard or Taskade :)

Hello! Planboard, how is it different from Common Curriculum? And I wanted to know if Asana can also help teacher planning. Greetings from LatinAmerica!
@NewEdTechClassroom2 жыл бұрын
Hey Loreto :) I've heard good things about Asana but I haven't used it myself. I just checked out Common Curriculum as I hadn't heard of that either and it looks like a fun app! Very nice interface with a lot of similarities to Planboard!

What are your thoughts on using a pdf planner on a tablet in an app like goodnotes 5? Would you say these web-based planner services are better or an additional option for whatever works best for an individual?
@NewEdTechClassroom2 жыл бұрын
I know that's a favorite method of a lot of teachers! I never really used it too much though so it's definitely a personal preference thing.

Can you tell me an app or software in which we can include two videos in one frame to make classroom interactive?
@NewEdTechClassroom2 жыл бұрын
Hm, could you explain a little bit more what you mean?

Hi there, I'm sorry for the difficulties! We've just tested the link and it appears to work for us...would you be able to send a screenshot of the error to contact@newedtechclassroom.com? From there, we should be able to sort it out 🙂 I'll also put the link here and maybe you can try it again - newedtechclassroom.com/21stcenturyteacher/

app for teaching Math online in fun way but still can achieve the indicators.. Please....

I like how gamified Khan Academy is but I find it more supplemental to the core math curriculum. I recommend checking out the resources by makemathmoments.com/. They have a great podcast on creating a very dynamic and engaging math class.

I was excited for this until I saw that it looked like Notion, yes
@NewEdTechClassroom2 жыл бұрын
I agree Sayan as I've used both Notion and Taskade. And I think you hit the nail on the head; it's a SIMPLER version of Notion. I think Taskade will be a lot easier for most teachers to pick up and start using than Notion.
@NewEdTechClassroom2 жыл бұрын
@@Prometheus720 Yeah if you're already using Notion, you may not need to make the switch. I think Taskade is a bit more approachable for most teachers as Notion has quite a bit of a learning curve.

@@NewEdTechClassroom I agree! I would love to see to detail video on how to start from scratch, making database etc? Can you make a general database like notion and then have different filtered views to see what you want?
@NewEdTechClassroom2 жыл бұрын
@@sayanchatterjee2970 For sure :) We've got a step-by-step Taskade tutorial on the list of videos we'll be making soon. Regarding databases, Taskade does not have a database function. All the various views are for any project you create. You can link from one project to another though which is what I did in my 'week at a glance' view.

Thanks for the feedback Scot. This video was more meant to showcase the features of Taskade. A more step-by-step tutorial on how to build a lesson plan on Taskade will be coming soon.

I just spent some time on it and it just isn't intuitive at all. The calendar page doesn't have any add task function and the times aren't interactive at all either. For a lesson planner for teachers not having an add "block" function by the day is just lacking. It needs a lot of work. I'll stick to making my schedules on Weebly... LoL

@@scottttym I hear that Scott. Definitely continue to use what works with your workflow :)
