Really good faux denim which looks surprisingly great on French Provincial. It is a joy to watch such an imaginative makeover. Loving your channel.

OMG!!! I can’t believe I found this! I have wanted to do this! Okay, gonna watch now I’m halfway through. I need these types of finishes. I’m not satisfied with my one color, perfect finish. I feel like, even though I’ve only done 3 pieces, I would do better with faux finishes because you don’t want them perfect. I’m so excited about this! BRB It’s gorgeous! I want to do this. I have the dresser, flat, plain and blah, for it. Going to Dixie Belle to find the rest of this. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💕

Love denim, and the many shades of blues. Most jeans have the copper rivets! Real or faux copper nailheads would be cool as a trim some where. Maybe not on your piece but if the right piece of furniture called for them.

would this 14:21 technique work with white wax on navy? I want this look on my dresser with the French Ceramics Transfer.

Such a creative finish. Thank you for showing us. I'm not on FB, so have a couple of questions for you, after you waxed did you buff it & if so do you buff the gilding wax as well? If so, does that remove the some of the gilding wax. Thank you :)
@BellaRenovare5 жыл бұрын
L C no problem ask all the questions you want!! Okay so with the wax I apply it and wipe away the excess and then I buff 15-20 minutes after because it is water based. With the gilding wax I just apply and let dry and cure I don’t buff it

@@BellaRenovare Thank you. Ok great. I more or less assumed this on both accounts, but I wanted to make sure. Thanks again for answering and you might regret saying to ask all the questions I want, I may take you up on it lol.

Have you ever tried any of these types finishes on furniture that isn't real wood? Particle board or MDF board?

Deb Olsen I haven’t butttt it would be the same process you just may need some slick stick on before you start painting is all :)
