bro not gonna lie, i fought all type of builds, speed hakuda kendo etc but i swear to fucking god. soul reaper kido is more brain dead than arrancar. i fought this sr that got max kido and all he did was legit spam long range stun and giant aoe moves that dealt a bar each and everytime i try to get near him he'd just run and stun me and repeat, soul reaper's kido is balanced. (and yes ive experienced those aba air combos from hakuda and it isnt even close to that kido sr)

as someone who's played literally every build possible except healing this is my take: although speed has the lowest skill ceiling that becomes absolutely irrelevant when the amount of hitstun and true combos it has that can add up to so much, on top of short cooldowns, just makes it uncontested apart from kendo being in my opinion the closest. the thing about speed is you can't run from it, you can't catch it, and you most certainly won't be effortlessly beating someone who's actually good at using it, unless you're also a speed user who's good at using it. kido arrancar is super super high burst, but also has a lot of windup on its moves. any good player can cancel them before they become a threat to them assuming they're in the right situation for it. literally just an m1 cancels almost all of kido's moves discounting cero sweep. another thing, just break their ankles, their aim on average sucks dick anyways so you probably win those. now if it's a good kido user like you seem to be since you have good aim there are definitely some problems. all of this is not to take away from the fact that kido does need nerfs but speed has had in my opinion the wrong things nerfed about it. instead of the parryable shit they did to waterfall dance they should just remove the hyperarmor on it so you can at least m1 them while they're spinning. it just makes me roll my eyes when a speed user comes up and hits me with a true combo for a bar and a half to 2 bars with little to no effort. and the whole fast fang being blockable thing is pointless when you can get your block tickled by anything and it will be broken if hit by fast fang afterwards. here's what i propose should (in my opinion) be done. reduce fast fang's posture damage, remove hyperarmor on waterfall dance and reduce posture damage on specter step, maybe even a range reduction but it's not completely necessary. for the kido tree i'd say cero mine should make anyone hit by it immune to outside attacks so people can't just mindlessly cero barrage immediately after for your entire health bar. kendo is a bit more tricky so i can't really think of any good nerfs for it but maybe someone here could propose something worthwhile.

I do mostly agree with you, although removing Waterfall Dance hyperarmor kinda removes the whole point in the move I think. I think they should nerf damage on Waterfall Dance instead of removing the hyperarmor. Other than the things you mentioned, Hakuda definetly also needs a nerf. I have no problem beating bad-decent Hakuda players, since I am pretty confident in my own skills, but an actually GOOD Hakuda player? You're dead before the battle even started. Especially if they're a Shinigami and has the special mode. Especially also if they're an Arrancar with Slash res or something like that. Way too much damage and practically impossible to get out of. I honestly think Speed soon will come more and more out of the meta. Once people learn how to fight Speed users, it suddenly becomes much easier to kill them. I honestly think Kendo, Kido and Hakuda is going to shine in the upcomming weeks. One way to prove is the fact that you find less and less Speed users. In the first week of the game, EVERYONE used Speed, but suddenly people have started to see the other metas, such as Kendo and Kido.

It also depends on ur res/shikai cause imo I’m berserk rn and 40 kendo/20 speed seems to be best for my play style and movement and follow ups. You can follow up flower passage into berserks Z skill which guard breaks into a crit if they block. If they dodge away I can blooming cut to them etc. It just gets hard when trying to fight multiple people because I don’t have skill boxes, but in 1s I can melt hp if I land just 1 move and start a combo. Speed and berserk don’t synergize all that well because berserk cant stun/grab and its moves have endlag that doesn’t give u enough time to pull off a string with speed so its really just speed carrying, instead of both working together.

Me at the beginning of the video: Wow he's finally going to reveal the truth, SR Kido is on top! Also me after i saw his arrancar: 💀💀 Edit: I just saw that you said Arrancar Kido > SR Kido, so you know what im going to do? Write a whole paragraph saying why it's false and that SR surpasses Arrancars (I don't have anything to do in my life) 🤓 🔥 1. Comparing the moves (SR Kido and Arrancar Kido), I will present the Arrancars move and then show why the SR Kido is superior to them. Then GG thats all cuz SR Kido is way better -> We're going to start with Arrancar Kido, Cero Burst is a decent move that has way more range than the vfx Bala Blackout is also decent due to its really fast startup, no ones going to block it except by predicting it/blocking in advance. Bala Barrage is a strong move but at the same time kinda trash, it's ofc a combo tool so using it in neutral is completely useless, you're going to land max 2-3 balls or the opponent is just going to block. It also got another problem, you can only use its full potential either with a guardbreak or after Bala gum (Or confinement) and the thing is, Bala gum is a problem that we're going to talk about after. Cero Infuse, your average buff move, nothing to say Cero confinement, first mid move, it's very hard to hit. Im going to say something i don't really know so correct me if im wrong but when you try to use this move (After Bala Gum because you ain't going to use it in any other situations) it's a 50/50, sometimes it will combo, sometimes the opponent will be able to escape. I don't even think this move is true after Bala Gum. The only strong point about it is that Bala Barrage is a true combo right after and this thing MELT Cero Sweep, decent move with superarmor, the problem with this is thats it's kinda hard sometimes to hit unlike Waterfall dance and also, if you just hold F, you can parry the last hit of the move without doing anything else, just hold F. Thats actually crazy, you don't have to time it or anything. Bala Gum: Weird move, firstly, it's the easiest to block, you even got a shiny green light on you when the opponent uses this move on you + it's also very slow, you're never going to hit this in neutral except if you probably pressure the opponent with another move like confinement, but pressuring someone with confinement only works in place where theres not alot of space to dodge, i don't see how you're ever going to land this move except with a GB. And the problem is that you got a better combo after a GB (Confinement+Barrage) Bala Drive: Best Arrancar Kido move, decent startup gb fast projectile, it's literally your fast Fang or smth like that. Now for SR Kido, i will present moves that are just Arrancar Kido but way better, so since i started with Bala barrage, im going to do a move that literally does its job but better (or just decent at it too, doesn't have to be straight better but SR Kido > Arrancar Kido). Or also just that is similar, because SR Kido and Arrancar Kido both got uniques moves, not just a "name change but is the same thing" Gaki Rekko: Streams of Blasts made for neutral that activates nearly as fast (if not the same windup) as Cero burst, with a little less range but you put more pressure on your opponent and does quite some posture damage. Unlike Cero burst, the move doesn't knock you back and has enough range for you to use a move right after without the opponent's being at M1 range and cancel you. Tsuzuri Raiden: Better Cero infuse, why ? Because you got another move with your M2 (M1 is the buff and the M2 is some sort of Mortal Ties except you can move freely but not your opponent). Also, right after the buff duration is done, the move is off cooldown. Rikujokoro: One of the main moves of SR Kido, you though Cero confinement was cool for combos and all ? Then look at this, a long ranged attack with a crazy fast windup for the hand movement (Takes literally 1.01s, and after you've done the hand signs, you cannot get cancelled by a hit) then after that, yellow lights will appear around the opponent, if he doesn't block fast, he will be stunned for an enough amount of time to do another kido move (little reminder theres a global cd after doing a Kido move, + the windup that some kido moves has like Sokatsui). So yeah, it's one of your main moves oh and what happens if you block it ? The stun last only for half a second.. But thats half a second where you can't do anything so you can literally do any fast shikai moves (looking at you lightning) and boom, done. *ALSO BETTER COMBO STARTER THAN BALA GUM, BALA GUM SUCK* Fushibi: It's a unique move, so i will compare it to another unique move which is Bala Blackout. Fushibi is an AOE explosion that does not gb but disables Flashteps if not blocked. For once, the Arrancar Kido move is better, because Bala blackout is fast, puts your screen to black and all you gotta do is do a GB move because the guy is 100% going to block and blablabla. Fushibi also got a bigger windup (like 1.25s around?) and can be cancelled. But it might be the better move agains't multiples people, because with Danku (3s free that does not trigger global cd), you can use this move right after and most people are not smart so they will get it by it. Haien: Im going to compare this to Bala Barrage because they're both kinda combo moves (and are the mains moves of their skill tree). This move can be used in neutral effectively tho compared to bala barrage, you just need to not be trash at aiming and poof, you got a big pillar of flame on your opponent. The move itself is not true unlike Bala Barrage but it does continuous damage and you can do OTHER moves while the guy is getting hit/Trying to block and get out of the pillar. You can do a Shikai move for example, a gap closer would be better, so that you can chain right after with a critical and then finish your combo with another move. It also can be used right after a Rikujokoro even with the global cd, it still combos which is incredible. (you can use any stun move to combo with haien, like Shadow C then Haien etc) Heavenly Cannon: Im going to compare this to Bala Drive, they're both projectile and they're both very good. Bala drive is one ball that you can mouse aim, that is extremely fast and that GB. Heavenly Cannon is also a ranged move that has a long startup (1.40s) and average speed, but to make up for it, the move is a GB, got a fat hitbox (like FAT) and does 90% of one bar of health (yknow, theres 5 bars in your health and blablabla). To make up for it, you can combo it with Danku (Danku gives 3s of Iframe, literally) Zangerin: Cero sweep is trash, you can just hold F while being hit and it will auto parry the 3rd hit. Zangerin is a projectile slash move that can be used long range, mid range and close range, it also guardbreak. It's cancellable yes but only if the opponent does an M1 right after you start using your move, it's like Bala Blackout, you can't really predcit it but you can atleast dodge it. Still better than sweep anyway. Sokatsui: Better Cero, got more range, does 90% of one bar which is the same damage as Heavenly Cannon (you got like 5 bars in your health bar) and also ragdolls the opponent while getting flung to the sky (So you can combo with another move depending on what you have, like Lightning C or smth right when they touch the ground). Danku: Arrancar Kido doesn't have this, 3s s where you can do anything except move. Best Kido move. ->Problem with SR Kido: Gotta Invest 50 points for the advanced Kido moves (aswell as Sokatsui and Danku) ->Good points: It's better than everything Arrancar Kido has, you got way more option, way more damage output and more unique moves (3s of | Disable Flashtep) Conclusion: SR Kido >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Arrancar Kido 🤓🔥 And sadly, i didn't talked about Byakurai and Raikoho which can be really strong moves (idk about Byakurai but Raikoho does a very good amount of damage) but sadly, i am exhausted and i just talked about the mains moves kinda. 2nd Edit: You also got better skillboxes moves. Kuyo Shibari is Rikujokoro but instead, is a projectile and doesn't trigger global CD. You got a frickin' Kamehameha that ignores block and 3 Frickin' Dragons that seals your reiatsu and got a hitbox as huge as Heavenly (Can touch you from 10 meters away)

Now the problem with your question is that i never used Quincy Kido, i only fought agains't it and i actually don't know what was nerfed etc (except the rain move). But from my experience fighting it when the game opened: It's the most annoying build to fight agains't, ontop of having just better flashteps, they also got mobility moves, Arrows with the hitbox being the most swole thing you will ever see in your life (the hitbox doesn't make sense please help), and tons of pressuring with the autoaim move, the rain move etc and etc. I will def put Pre nerfed Quincy Kido in S but for nerfed Quincy Kido, i don't really know. The only time i fought one was when i had a pretty meh build (Creation-Kendo) so the fight was pretty ehhhh. But what i can definitely say from my experience is that speed and Kendo are way better than Quincy Kido (Quincy Kido is still useable and is still the most annoying thing but with the rain move kinda nerfed and the fact that you got multiple gap closers abilities on your shikai or other skill tree. It makes nerfed Quincy Kido way easier to fight and honestly, it isn't even that strong if they don't land the moves that decrease your mobility by 90%. So honestly, i'd say it's the worst skill tree ingame (probably better than medic tho, idk).

u can block every bala barrage ball without posture breaking, u can block cero and flashstep out of confinement, and parrying 1 bala barrage cancels the whole move. its not that hard to fight against

Kido is infact the strongest arrancar build. BUT MOST PLAYERS are not experienced enough to use it in actual pvp, not to mention the cooldowns and wind ups for arrancar kido are SUPER LONG, and are EASILY countered with measly m1s. If you get close to a kido user, you just win.

Arrancar kido is only good against ppl who doing know what they doing, if u go against some who’s good then everything will get parried.
