I do my best to not give out fishing locations, the best I can say is if you float connellsville to dawson you will see it.

Well so you know its risky and could get a fine for crossing the tracks but I have parked in the parking lot across from what used to be anchor hawking.

@@fishinwithish ya I eventually found that road but I didn’t know I could go down there but after I talked to a few people they told me I could of went down there and parked .. I ended up parking on the other side of the river and walked across that train bridge lol .. I really didn’t have much luck there .. My son caught 1 smallie

Catfish, carp, sauger. Nice! Where are all the smallies? Haha. That sauger was a good one. Big enough for a catch and release award. Used to catch a lot of them down there years ago, but not so many lately. Looked like a great day. I'm gonna have to get down that way soon.

Man idk I catch some smallies here n there but they have been hard to come by for some reason. Nevee heard of a catch and release award ill have to look into it. I fish this spot kinda regularly mostly as a gauge as to wether or not the river is worth fishing anywhere else the last two weeks I barely been catching anything at all. let me know if you wanna fish the pier together!

For carp I mainly use a packbait on a method lead and hair rig. The pack bait i use is sweet corn panco and strawberry jello mix.
