I just finished bawling my eyes out. (If you don’t have the time to read the big ass comment, then don’t press the read more button.) First of all, when stay gold came out, I didn’t even check the meaning or the lyrics, just the tone and the overwhelming chorus made me cry. Same for You never know, it had a very powerful, moving and overwhelming chorus like stay gold. These two songs really have a huge role on my life. I was very unmotivated, depressed. Even though I was an army since 2016, however I tried, it really didn’t help me. I would chat with other ARMYs, watch BTS crack stuff and some unholy wattpad stuff too, but even if my day was perfect, I’d cry myself to sleep everyday. When stay gold came out, that was the first day I cried so hard, I was literally screaming and crying. After that, when “your eyes tell” came out I was literally thinking about my swollen eyes everyday after I woke up. Those two songs hit me so fucking hard. Those two songs created such a deep meaning to me. I started gaining confidence in myself and slowly started to help myself more than others. Then “the album” was released and I heard the songs (ofc I’m a 2016 armyblink). As I was listening the songs one by one, I thought that everything’s gonna be a hip hop themed or heavy type music thingy. The one I found different before I got to the last song was “bet you wanna”. Rose’s harmonizing vocals and adlibs were so beautiful an that song gave major happy vibes like “ego” or “gogo”. When I reached the last song..... “you never know”, I BROKE DOWN. Believe it or not, I didn’t have any expression on my face, I was just staring blankly at a wall and tears kept pouring out of my eyes. I just felt like the whole world all around me was fake and that I needed to prioritize myself over others. The line, “You never know, till you walk in my shoes” hit me like a tsunami. It told me that no one even realizes or cares about my pain, and that I have to stand up and take care of myself. My parents keep pressuring me to do well and get straight A’s and do nothing other than study. They don’t let me do any art or singing which are the only hobbies which helped to keep me from hurting myself or completely (*). Almost everyone is so fake and takes advantage of me and then abandons me, they don’t give a shit about my mental health. I’ve been listening to “we are bulletproof : eternal” on repeat for a few months now. That song tells me that I matter and that I have a purpose. That song tells me that i have done a good job and that my hopes are not just 7 with all of us. I just came across your channel a few days ago, and I found this. I’m really thankful to you for making this since this a mix of 2 of the 4 songs that kept me alive. I’m still a little teary after writing this. I don’t know how to thank you, my parents won’t give me any money so I dunno how to thank you. I don’t know how many fans actually relate to this or the songs, but to me, these are more precious than myself. I saw this comment by @anshika kushwaha that blackpink is telling you about all hardships and BTS is telling you to stay gold through all of them. (T-T) I’m forever grateful to have BTS and blackpink in my life. Edit: This isn't just for armyblinks so if you feel a similar way u can use this to vent and ALL OF YOU ARE VALID and your feelings, problems, complaints are ALL VALID. Let's all heal together as time passes and help other ppl heal too.

Stay strong❤️ I’m also struggling with depression. I just feel like their is a whole inside of me a gap that feels soo empty and some days it really hits me and I cry soo much before sleeping that I wake up with my eyes swollen. I have a hard time escaping my room. I have anxiety and panic attacks when I go to a crowded place and I feel really self conscious and when I discovered blackpink I felt really happy for the first time. I smile when I watch their videos and I rarely smile and the watch blackpink videos the less I feel alone in my room. I still feel shit some times and feel like their is something missing but blackpink is my source of happiness. Blackpink makes me escape my depressing reality which helps a lot and since I discovered blackpink I really feel empowered and recently I went to a therapist and she’s helping me a lot and she’s really happy that I found something that makes me smile which is blackpink. So stay strong 💪❤️
