Just recently I’ve been through A LOT, which was mostly my parents getting divorce, so I prayed and read the gospel and continued to go to church that made everything so much better. I entered an extended time of deep depression shortly after Jesus saved me. During that time God "ripped the rug out from under me" in order to sanctify me & cleans me of pretty serious self-righteous pride. It seemed like I was a long time, falling back to the ground, so to speak, but the Holy Spirit was faithful. Many years later, our worship leader taught us this new song, which resonated with me & my experience of the Power of God to keep me near Him, even during my "dark night of the soul" that He took me through on my journey to becoming like Christ. His ways are definitely not my ways, nor His thoughts my thoughts, but I'm eternally grateful that Jesus does know what He's doing in HIs commitment to transform me into His likeness, for the glory of our Father. Trust Him, no matter what life throws at you. You cannot go wrong if your faith is in Him alone.

At a time when I was struggling with life as a widow and not knowing how to do it, Jesus spoke to my heart through this song and told me "I've never let you go" I ran from the sanctuary! A good friend stopped me and prayed for me! As she prayed, God's Holy Spirit filled my body from my feet out the top of my head! Like static electricity shooting through me! It was at that point all doubt went out the window! It's not been perfect and I've made a lot of mistakes even from that time, but God's Grace and Mercy carries me through and keeps me close to Him! Right now you're in a point where you either die spiritually or you whether you continue to seek God and continue to grow. We need to lean how to preserve. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with a disease called Systemic lupus erythemotosus. I can honestly say Jesus gave me so much peace in a job where i meet about 120 new people during a pandemic while i had all kinds of lung problems during and before. Everybody knows what a good person is and everybody deep down wants to feel like they're doing right so when we do wrong it's easy to feel guilty but like I said no one is perfect. Just ask forgiveness and repent (get on the right path) and I'm sure you'll feel loads better.
