I used this recipe with the baking powder option. I kept the 1/4 cup aside to use later as recommended but i ended up not using it since my dough was perfect. Soft yet not sticky. Very satisfied with the recipe. Glad that it is egg free too in case i ever need an egg-free recipe. Highly recommended too because of the limited ingredients required.

Good recipe...I believe for those asking about baking powder,she didn't use it in this recipe because she was using self rising flour which already has the baking powder in it but when using all purpose flour,one has to add baking powder,what measurement does one add?

I've tried this mandazis and they're always great.The best recipe ever. Healthwisw,We are gluten free and egg free so I usually do 1 and 1/4 cup flour+2 cups gram flour and that sorts us out. Thanks gal, you're 👍👍👍
