@@marcusettling9016 Geralt makes a comment ("Interesting...", I think) when he passes by that place the first times after it becomes available. He sees two suspicious individuals there. It's first available a few days after that event with the kid who want to lure Geralt into a robbery ambush (even if the player doesn't act on it).

I think its almost impossible to miss that since on my 3 playthrough, whenever I stumble on it by accident during some quest. I always saw a hooded guy crouched in there, then he will look back over his shoulder proceed to walk away. so I dont know why you’re saying we missed that part. only a blind or stupid person would miss that.
