So, according to some, the XM4s have both better sound and more stable noise cancelling (the XM5s have AI-assisted adaptive noise-cancelling, which is not always better). It's a matter of taste when it comes to these two features. But more importantly, the XM4s are about half the price of a pair of Beats Studio Pros, so it's also relevant from a price performance perspective. But arguably the worst thing about the XM5s is that they are so big that for many people, they easily slide off of your head. The XM4s have continuously been compared to the XM5s exactly because there are a bunch of tradeoffs between them.

I have the q45 and haven’t loved them(love my Q30s though), so I was looking at the xm5 vs the Studio Pro. I ended up going XM5 because even though I’m in the Apple ecosystem I felt like I would be giving up too many features for the $50 difference.

I hate the Sony headphones had a horrible experience with them being fragile and getting water damaged from light sweat at the gym. They are supposed to be ipx4 but Sony refuse to fix them because some water got in, which it is. Supposed to be resistant to. I have to be paranoid with my xm5s now. Never again will I buy Sony. Bose only from now on

I did the same yesterday lol beats studio pro against xm5s.... hard battle but tbh the pros didn't have enough bass for me and they lack the EQ. My air pods max broke and apple couldnt fix em after 3 repairs which is why I would go with the xm5s if I had to choose. EQ settings are crazy and it got LDAC. Greetings, good video.

That’s funny cuz most reviews I’ve seen have said the xm5’s lacked bass lol. It just shows we all hear things differently. I have these Beats Studio pros and the AirPods Max and honestly the only thing the max has over them is SLIGHTLY better sound quality. Wider sound stage and a bit more instrument separation. Considering the beats are currently $169 I could never recommend the AirPods Max for nearly $300 more. I’ve owned the Sony xm4 before and while they sounded very clean, they didn’t get loud enough or pack enough punch for my taste.

You should compare them to the Skullcandy crusher anc 2.They have a lot of battery,unique bass feature and almost 150 bucks less

Im returning my anc2’s tomorrow because how garbage they are, they just vibrate your head, it’s not a punchy bass at all, I had the studio 2’s and they were great.(I broke them )

I actually had the studio pro first before getting the XM5. For the price of $179 the studios were nice but I wanted better ANC and the sonys were on sale for $329 so got those. But the ANC was pretty good on the Beats Studio pros and for under $200 I would say they’re better than the Sony at $400.

The problem with the beats is no eq, but if u use the spotify eq, they can sound pretty amazing honestly, thats what i do with my studio 3's and now they sound sm better

The thing with Beats is that their tuning has gotten better overtime, but they still lack a good soundstage (Probably due to their shallow earpads and poor seal). Not just that, they STILL don't have a good fit and they STILL feel extremely cheap for their price. Also, the ANC on the Studio Pro I tried in a store once wasn't very good due to how poorly they sealed on my ears. They would have had a chance if only they had more thought put into their design. My Soundcore Life Q35s once set up and EQed properly beat them in pretty much every department, and they're way cheaper.

As far as open, non isolating earbuds, the Samsung Live and Airpods 3 are the only popular ones I can think of. There are also some options from Anker, Sony, and JBL, but they are budget options, none of them really beat the clarity of the Airpods 3.

Sorry, but beats have always been crap compared to "real" headphones. They are WAY overpriced and just do NOT perform adequately for top notch, highly priced phones. Beats have always been overhyped and Eq is overhyped as well. Made to sell only. Stay away from Beats ppl.
