A hero, once held up high on a pedestal suddenly finds that he's become insignificant. Treated with scorn by those he once called friends. Slowly, surely, he realizes he's been tricked by those he trusted. As he spends more time around them, he becomes more and more corrupted until one day he finally snaps and turns his back on those he once called "friend". He reveals his true dark side, taking his true form. He becomes their greatest foe. The one who isn't afraid to hurt others. The one who will do anything to get where he wants, even take lives that aren't his.

No, no, no, that can't be right, I think. I'm the hero, the hero. They told me so. They praised me. The newspapers couldn't get enough of my good deeds. Who did this? How did the world do a one-eighty without me noticing? When did I become the . . . the . . . villain. I'm not, though. That's all wrong. They can't be done with me, yet. Just because I changed my politics a little doesn't make me a villain, does it? They're words, just words anyway, so why do they hit like a boulder to my ribs? Suddenly, I'm angry. I make a fist, scrunching up the newspaper in my hand as I do. Fine, they think I'm a villain, do they? They want a villain, is that it? Is a hero not exciting enough for them? Fine, fine. If I'm a villain now, imagine what they'll call me when I'm actually trying. I might as well try it; it's not like I have anything to lose. A few days later, as I leave a crime scene as the criminal for the first time, I sigh regretfully and set a small slip of paper aflame and let it flutter to the ground. "Good-bye, hero," I say, softly watching the note from my sister, the one I became a hero for, burn. I close my eyes and let out a long breath. When I open them again, the note is dark ashes on the wet cement. "You have no idea what you've done," I whisper to the world, "You wanted a villain? Well, here I am." The darkness swallows me just as the first police sirens become distinguishable in the distance. They're too late, though; the hero's already dead.

I always use to wonder why I was more interested in villains in story's rather than the heros. now that I'm a little older I get it there the ones that the hero never saved. Or the hero that saw what the world was truly like and gave up to the sorrow and despair they saw there.

y “Our daughter.. how beautiful she. We shall love her always.” x “Of course, and what a wonderful hero she will be” y “Hero? I thought we were gonna wait to tell her about her powers? What happened to everything we agreed on?” x “She will be a hero. No child of my blood will be a villain.” y “You… you tricked me! You made me think you were a good wife.. but your a *monster*” x “Don’t you recognize me, Yor?” y “no… I killed you! You were dead! I made sure of it! You caused terror to so many! I lost my mother and father to you! I can’t believe this..” x “funny, because you slashed me til I fell.. then you left and celebrated the “villain’s” death.. I was a hero. I wanted to save the world. But you damn heroes pushed me away from the good and brainwashed the citizens to think I’m a villain! Well, here I am, a villain. Isn’t this what you wanted?” y “…what? But they told me you were so terrible and took so many lives!” x “that was your first mistake. believing them.. I wanted to build a life with you. I loved you. But you hated me, because of what they said. Now that you know who I am, you will abandon me, and maybe even our child. You’ve always ran, Yor.” y “all I’ve been taught to do is run. I would never leave my baby, no matter who their other parent is.” x “I’ll be back. In 14 years. I will take my daughter and show her the life of a hero and a villain. Then she can choose. I left you a gift, so enjoy.” Xava turned invisible and walked away. y “what did she leave me…? Is it you, my beautiful Hannah?” 14 years later.. h “UGH ADRIEN! That’s my diary! Get back here before I tear you apart!” y “Adrien, give Hannah her diary. And Hannah, don’t threaten your brother. Just because your older doesn’t mean you have any power over him” a “She’s barely older than me! Less than a year! And fine.. have your stupid diary back” y “you kids better get ready for school. *she checks the time* OH CRAP, Hannah! Go uh.. hide under your bed with Adrien!” h “what? Why? What’s going on?” y “NOW HANNAH, GO!” A “cmon Hannah!” h “*she crawls under the bed and puts some pillows blocking them from sight* what’s going on…” a “I don’t know, I’m scared” h “this is the worst birthday ever” y “*she bites her nails*” x “did you miss me, my love?” y “what are you doing here” h “who is she talking to?” x “im here for my daughter. I told you I’d be back. Now where’s Hannah?” h “what? *she crawls out from under the bed* what’s going on here?” x “hello my daughter.” h “who are you?!” x “your mother never told you about me?” h “my mother never said anything about you!” a “what’s going on? Why is everyone yelling?” y “Hannah I told you to go under the bed!” h “what’s going on mom??” x “come with me Hannah, I’ll explain it to you in the way” h “what?! Where are we going? I don’t want to leave!” a “don’t take my sister! Mom, do something!” y “I can’t.. I made an agreement I can’t go back on.” h “what? Mom! Please!” x “*takes Hannah*” h “who are you? Why are you taking me? Where are you taking me?!” x “im your mother. Well, your other mother. We’re going to my base. When we’re there, you can choose if you what to take the path of sacrifice, no free will and ‘good’ or the path of joy, freedom and ‘evil’.” h “what do you mean?” x “do you want to be a hero or a villain? Now step out, we’re here.” h “but don’t you need powers to be either of those?” x “how much has your mother not told you?! You have powers. Your mother and I do as well. Not so sure about your brother” h “what are my powers?” x “i guess we will figure it out. Time to train.”
