My unpopular opinion: the dua lipa approved unpopular opinion song lyrics don’t make sense. Saying ‘up til now’ suggests the past tense and ‘you’re afraid’ changes to present tense. I’m sure theres a more succinct way of explaining it but thats how my brain is currently working.

💯 The mixing of tenses is annoying and makes no sense. (I suppose one could argue that "you're afraid" means "you were afraid" here, but is that how anyone actually interprets it?
