This is why it's so important to hear all sides of the story before you draw conclusions. In beginning I was riding with the girl bc how she told her side of the story made a lot of sense and would make me question my friend too. But then the friend was like she came at her aggressive and caused her to shut down, which is normal bc I definitely don't want to talk to someone who is angry and emotional. Then the guy comes and says they were never in a relationship and could care less about the girl and admitted he tried to talk to the friend and she shut it down. So now that we have that context, the girl was in the wrong. She questioning her friend for years and chose to still deal with a dude who clearly isn't into her is the ultimate betrayal. If I was the friend, I wouldn't jump back into that friendship so quickly. That weak apology that she gave was a start, but she gonna have to show through actions she wants the friendship back and regain trust. It definitely can happen, but it will take time.
