Encouraged and expected. This is an encouragement and invitation. There can be good, and there's still an opportunity for better. 3.) Today, you will receive encouragement to know you are doing good and receive an invitation for better, what you walked in with was genuinely the best you have at the moment. 4.) A good reason to worship is because God is working (he keeps on making a way), a better reason to worship God is because he is worthy 5.) A good reason to worship is that God is obvious, a better reason to worship is because God is omniscient 6.) A good reason to worship is because God is relaxed, a better reason to worship is because God is righteous ( his righteousness still demands a standard) 7.) A good reason to worship is because God is simple ( there is a lot of good things in your life that you could be grateful for) and a better reason to worship is because God is sovereign 8.) As far as God keeping a record of the good and bad that we do is concerned, there’s scripture that speaks to each one of us being held accountable for what we do in this life. I’ve included on passage for context on how what Charles is teaching here doesn’t align with scripture. “So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭6‬-‭10‬ ‭ESV‬‬ 16:49

Charles, I don't know if you will see this or not but I just want to thank you and thank transformation church. I haven't been going to church lately and to be honest I have felt a little afraid to listen to sermons even and maybe for a few different reasons I'm not really sure but I was contemplating on watching a sermon and you came to my mind. So I got on youtube and looked up transformation church and it showed a sermon two weeks ago and it wasn't like 5 minutes into the sermon that I was trembling and crying and looking up to God and thanking Him because He is so amazing and for showing me this message. The things you have talked about were the same things that I have written about in my journal and things that I have been dealing with and struggling with so I just wanted to say thank you for sharing this message and never holding back. it just blows my mind how the Holy Spirit works like that and I feel spiritually connected to you guys there at transformation church and I don't even know you.

Is Charles alluding to Paul having some ongoing struggle with sin in his life? I ask because the thorn in his side was also something he referred to as a “messenger of Satan” which could strongly imply that his critics were the thorn in his side. There’s no way to allude to it being sin though… because he repeatedly made it clear that he was submitting his flesh to God and as doing everything he could to be seen as righteous by God… not as a means of his salvation… but as an expression of his worship and adoration for the fact that God would use someone like him to reach the Gentiles! 35:47
