Look I get it I've been through depression and suicidal thoughts and the only thing I can tell people who are going through it is to shut the hell up when they get negative. You locked yourself in the darkness because you were so afraid that somebody would reject who you really are. You've been through some hard times I get that but it doesn't give you the right to give up on yourself. As we go through life we loose meaning and hope every day but it's by continuing to move forward that we find new reasons to hope. How can you just wait for things to get better when you just sit their in the darkness because its comfortable? You have to do something or nothing will EVER change and you WILL become another pathetic statistic. I've clawed my way out of the darkness so I know damn well it's not impossible but your harming yourself over feeling sad in a handful of situations out of hundreds of billions that will occur in your life? That's horrible and you need to get mad as hell at yourself and say HOW DARE THIS THOUGHT ENTER MY MIND! Get over yourself and never give up again.
